Knife & Fork Gastropub is a casual bistro-style tavern and social hub with a modern interpretation of the neighborhood pub. We are family accessible and offer kids meals off the menu. Optimum time for family dining is from 4pm-9pm 7 days a week.
Join us Saturday’s & Sunday’s for our Brunch Menu served from 11am until 3pm.
At K&F all of our recipes are made from scratch and sourced locally when possible. We cure & brine our meat in house. Our menu features beef stroganoff, Burgers, Wings, BLT’s, Cuban’s, 14oz. Ribeye, Fish & Chips, Pizzas & much more with 27 draft beers and Happy Hour & ½ off starters M-F from 4−7pm
We offer free Wi-Fi, 11 TV’s, Outdoor patio with projector screen, music w/custom surround sound,. So, clear your mind, enjoy our food, our bar and relax on the patio.
Just a friendly FYI: You will not always be greeted at the door as we are a walk in Gastro“PUB” so if you are easily offended by that we apologize in advance. Otherwise, please take a seat, and make yourself at home & a server or bartender will be right with you. Feel free to flag someone down OR yell at the bartender if we are busy. We don’t mind, we hope you don’t either.
We do not claim to be the «best» at anything, but we do offer great food, cool cocktails & cold beer for the people who want to relax and kick back in a laid back environment. No pretense here. If you need to compare us to any other establishment don’t waste your time. We are unique for a reason. Come check it out!
History
Established in 2012.
The gastropub movement started in the early 90’s in London, England. The idea of taking an existing pub, injecting a gourmet chef, and elevating the experience for its patrons crossed the pond and has been permeating this country for a few years now. Only recently, Orange County became a destination for such fare, and now we intend on making San Antonio the new destination.
Knife & Fork Gastropub’s mission is to provide high quality, freshly prepared food at reasonable prices, maintaining purveyors of local or organic produce, sustainable seafood, and humanely raised meat and poultry as often as possible.

Business Owner
Gabe & Javier are experienced in the food & drink industry. They were presented with an opportunity to develop the Knife & Fork Gastropub. They wanted to offer North San Antonio a unique and entertaining scene where people could enjoy everything from brunch, to craft cocktails, local beers and LATE NIGHT elevated cuisine. Gabe & Javier and their team at Knife & Fork Gastropub put together the perfect mix of all of those and gave the people in the Stone Oak area a new place to kick back, play some games and enjoy quality food and drinks in a super causal environment.
