History
Established in 2009.
Kimberly Howell Properties was officially founded in 2009, but the history of the company spans back many years before that date. Kimberly Howell Properties operates under the leadership of one of San Antonio’s top agents, Kimberly Howell. Kimberly started her career in real estate back in 1977 working on site for her father who was a local builder. Kimberly eventually joined forces with Doug Howell, who initiated Howell Properties in 1985. That company eventually merged with Keller Williams in 1997 and then broke off again to form San Antonio Avalar in 2004. As the franchise with Avalar ended in 2009, Kimberly seized the opportunity to put more control in the hands of the agents, and transformed the company into Kimberly Howell Properties.

From day one owning and managing this company, Kim has put everything she has into its operation. In addition to completing her own professional real estate transactions (over twenty million annually from her alone) and managing an ever-changing team of agents (The Howell Group — annual production totals for the team topping forty million some years), Kim is on hand twenty-four-seven to field questions, resolve disputes, and offer advice and counseling to the fifty plus agents our office currently sponsors.
