Specialties

Teachers guide the children through active manipulation of the environment and concrete learning experiences. The implementation of this approach is accomplished through the use of various learning centers. Christian principles and Bible stories are integrated into the curriculum on a daily basis.

Our program includes Music, Motor Skills and Chapel. Monthly enrichment activities are also included at no extra charge for the 3 – 4 year classes. We follow the Northside School District for most holidays and school closings. The full-​time program is closed approximately 3 weeks during the school year and one week in the summer. There is no charge for these weeks.

History

Established in 1989.

Kids of the Kingdom School was founded by Gail Anderson in 1989. Originally, the school was located behind Zion Lutheran Church on Leslie Road. In October 2015, Kids of the Kingdom became Kids of the Kingdom Episcopal School and moved to become a ministry of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, located at 11 093 Bandera Road in San Antonio, Texas.
