Great Pampering! The staff was friendly and this is not your normal nail salon and spa. What a great variety of manicures & pedicures. I was impressed with the clean facility. I have very thin, cracked nails and got a wonderful Hot Wax Manicure. Next week I’m having the same manicure plus a Lavender Pedicure. Doesn’t that sound like real pampering? The prices are very comparative. It really is worth your time to check out this salon. It’s tucked in a strip mall off Culebra inside 410. Between McDonalds and the Bingo place.

It’s a lovely salon inside, although the strip mall is not much to speak of. We had an appointment and they saw us right away. They were quite busy. I got the deluxe manicure with hot wax. Also got a gel finish, which I never had before. The manicure was great, loved the hot wax, also new for me. The people were very friendly. The gel finish is still going strong after two weeks without even a chip. I will definitely be going back, even if it’s just for a basic manicure.

I love this place. Tucked away in a semi-​sketchy looking strip mall off of Culebra, this place is super clean and inviting. I’ve always made an appointment by calling in 1 – 3 hours before I want to come in, and I’ve never had to wait more than 3 minutes. They have 10 pedi bowls in the back with great massage chairs and great nail techs. They also offer beverages, including Soda and water. They have at least 8 mani tables and they offer a Shellac and Powder. This was the first place I’ve had the powder, and it lasted 3 weeks on my nails without chipping. They have fair prices and really nice people working. Hawaii nails is my go-​to.

Been here 3 times for eyebrows (Ive only been coming here because this is one of the few locations in the area that open early enough for me to still make it to work on time) the eyebrow service is very mediocre in my opinion but i was very disappointed with my last visit!!! 1) they do not change the sheet that’s laid across the bed so everyone getting eyebrows has to lau across the same dirty sheet. 2) the pregnant lady that did my eyesbrows completely messed up the shape and cut more than I asked! She also rested her hand across my face as she was doing it (laziness) now my one of my eyes are swollen! I think its infected because its very irritable and there are visible cuts on my eyelids. I’ve never had this happen to me before! Needless to say I will not be returning!

Finally tried this place after reading all the good reviews gotta say I will never return. Within the 2weeks of having my nails done they all fell off!!! Never had that happen at any other place. I asked them to be square and they were so wide that when I went to another salon to keep getting esch nail repair as they fell the guy said they were so bad they we’re the worst he’d seen. Just save your money.

SUPER glad I did my research on Unilocal.I probably wouldn’t have found this gem on my own. I was a walk-​in right as they opened and Tia did an awesome job. She really paid attention to what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable with her work before putting on the top coat. I accidentally bumped my pinky and messed up the paint, and she was super patient and gladly fixed it for me. Also, I usually feel awkward when a manicurist attempts small-​talk, but I felt very comfortable with her. It was like chatting with a friend. I highly recommend this place; I will be a regular myself!

I got my nails and toes done, the lady was rude first off, my toes came out good but she did my nails so sloppy and when I asked her to fix it she blamed it all on me, and continued to fix them very sloppy. not happy at all because these were supposed to be my graduation nails. thanks for the sloppy nails Ngoc.

I’ve visited here twice, recieved a friendly visit both times. First time I did the deluxe pedicure with lemon sea salt for 35.00, great job but they did not offer any decorations, pedicure lasted two weeks, normally it last longer. I did the shellac for the nails. Asked for eyebrows but she was getting her nails done. Second visit I was with sherry, she did my nails with great detail and my eyebrows. Only negative thing I have to say is that the sheet and towel you lay on to have waxing done is not changed between clients. So that you do at your own risks, but I will continue to patron this establishment

So happy I found Hawaii Nails on Unilocal which is ironic because I’m from Hawaii. I’m visiting San Antonio and unsure where to go. There are about 4 nail shops within a mile from my fiancé’s house. I checked online and although some salons received 4 stars, the pictures told another story (i.e. red cuticles, bad polish jobs, etc.)
Hawaii Nails had 5 stars and they earned it. Walked in with no appointment, waited 5 minutes. Just needed an acrylic fill with gel top coat. Tommy was FABULOUS! Great conversation, quick, inexpensive and an overall nice guy.
Salon was clean, plenty of mani & pedi stations. Full services for nails, waxing, facials and eyelashes. I will be coming back and highly recommend this salon.

The lady did a great job on my nails. She took her time and paid attention to what she was doing. It was really nice and clean inside, we definitely be going back!

Love them, always great service. They take their time. Professional. Most importantly They listen to what you want :-). Complimentary drinks (water, wine etc). Decent prices also.

Loved my mani with Kevin. The salon is super clean and vibe is extremely friendly. I was expecting a much higher price due the the fact that the salon looks like a high end salon. However, the price range is very affordable. They even offer you drinks so that’s always nice. I think I have found my go to salon from now on. Def will return.

NOT impressed at all. Regular Asian nail shop and exterior is run down. Inside is regular not as run down, but in no way would I call it «clean». The manicurist was average. Completed my shellac manicure that I’ve been getting for years from numerous places. This place did not stand out at all. And for the service I would have expected a low price. But it was $ 25. One color, nothing special. And typical of an average nail shop– the shellac is peeling 4 days later. Would not return.
