History

Established in 1982.

Marty Hammonds began working with wood floors in the 1960’s learning what customers wanted and how to deliver a great wood floor. Through the years the Hammonds team has grown to encompass hundreds of wood floor products to choose from an unmatched Timeless Craftsmanship Guarantee and has trained over a dozen in house craftsmen the magnificent trade that is wood working. Today, Hammonds serves the Texas state preservation board in maintaining the floors at the Texas state capitol and courthouses and museums across the vast Texas landscape.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

San Antonio born and raised, Marty has spent a greater portion of his professional career servicing wood floor customers. Marty is the only National Wood Flooring Inspector in south Texas. He lives in North San Antonio with his bride Sharron and three children of which his eldest, Jerrod works alongside. Recreational interests include gardening, hunting and serving the church at Concordia as a part of the elder board.
