We are one of the first centers in the area to offer TMS — Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation — to treat depression! And, we’re getting incredible results! Our patients are getting well!

Established in 2002.

Genesis Psychiatric Center has been providing psychiatric care to patients for 11 years! We are now in one convenient location after having two offices. The office in Boerne, TX was closed, with operations consolidated for improved patient care, in March 2013. And, we’re accepting new patients!

Psychiatrist, Dr. Ted Williams, founder of Genesis Psychiatric Center in 2002, has grown his clinic to one where patients find cutting edge, compassionate, and comprehensive ‘whole-​person’ psychiatric treatment in a warm, professional setting. Dr. Williams began his medical career in Family Medicine — not Psychiatry — which may be one reason why he and his clinic maintain a perspective of mental health treatment in the context of ‘family,’ and of you as a ‘whole person’ (one’s overall mental, physical, and spiritual health).

Dr. Williams holds an Adjunct Assistant Professor position with the Department of Psychiatry, in the School of Medicine, University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSCSA). Residents and medical students from Psychiatry as well as Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner students from UTHSCSA participate in an approved elective clinical out-​patient rotation at Genesis Psychiatric Center under the direction of Dr. Williams.
