History

Established in 1977.

Furniture in the Raw started in 1977 with its first showroom in Austin Texas. The store originally served customers that wanted to finish their own all wood furniture.

Today, Furniture in the Raw offers finished all wood furniture and unfinished furniture.

The company was purchased in 1997 by current owners Steve and Harriet Greenlee. Furniture in the Raw now has three showroom locations in Austin, San Antonio and online.
