History
Established in 2004.
Furniture For A Cause opened it’s doors in March of 2004 as an additional source of revenue for the many programs SAMMinistries provides to the homeless and at risk homeless individuals and families of San Antonio. Our 35,000 square foot store sells new and gently used home and office furniture, including accessories, to the general public at a low price with 100% of the net proceeds going to SAMMinistries.

Manager
My name is David Reyna and I am the General Manager at Samministries Furniture For A Cause. My entire life has been involved in the Furniture Industry as I refinished antiques as a teenager, studied Interior Design in college, and then after college I worked for almost 20 years in the Furniture Industry dealing with everything from European Antiques to Upscale Modern Furniture. There are two main aspects to working at Furniture For A Cause that I thoroughly enjoy. The first is the fulfillment I get knowing the fruits of my hard work, goes to help those in need in our community! The second is we get to see some really unique furniture that has some character and uniqueness that comes through on a daily basis. Every day it is fun to see what comes in from our generous donors, and there are some real treasures. We price them well so they don’t last long!
