Express Lube

I came in for what seemed to be a quick 15 – 20 minute inspection process and it wound up taking well over and hour although my car was second in line. The people working are neither the most pleasant nor do they feel the need to update you on the status of your car in a timely manner. I would not recommend this place. Please save your valuable time and go elsewhere for a quick service.

Inspection was so fast. Great customer service… I waited 2.5 hours at Walmart for an oil change but these guys did it in 30 minutes even with a bunch of cars in line. They also match Wal mart in price so I got price plus value. Will definitely come back again.

I asked for the cheapest package, and when it came time to pay I was given the most expensive. When I brought it up that I didn’t ask for the high end stuff, the cashier offered a $ 5 discount. Not even close to the $ 60 difference I made to pay extra for. Think twice about going here, and if you do, make sure they don’t try to screw you over like they did me.

Worst experience ever had all the people are nasty they think they can do whatever they want i took my car there for oil change left with horrible leak. Nasty nasty

The customer service here was pretty bad. Do not come if you are at all pressed for time, even if you call ahead and they TELL YOU they will have it done in time, they won’t. I spoke up after waiting over an hour for something they told me would take 30 minutes and I got a horrible attitude from one of the guys working. Sorry, my time is too valuable for this place, I’ll stick with the dealership next time. 2 stars because they did vaccum the floorboards and the waiting area/​bathroom were clean and nice.

I’ve been here 30 minutes for an Inspection sticker. I was the 2^nd car in line. Finally pulled my car into the service area. Slow…

Fast service with a fair price.

Went for a routine old change and had a terrible experience. I had to wait several hours to have my car serviced. They installed my air filters incorrectly; I had to go to my car dealer to correct the problem and clear all the warning lights. They also charged me exorbitant prices for their so called parts and «services.» They also rushed me out of there and forgot to put the next service sticker reminder on my windshield. I guess that was a sign NOT to come back!

wow — i think i found my new spot for oil changes! the staff was friendly and welcoming and didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions. although i only came in for an oil change, they updated me on the overall condition of my car :))) on top of that, i noticed that they vacuumed the inside of my car (good thing it wasn’t embarrassingly messy haha)! compared to past experiences at other businesses, express lube went above and beyond during my visit. oh, and my car sounds beautiful :)

That is exactly what I thought after going to this place. This place is my current savior and I thank them tremendously for doing a job well-​done.
Here’s the story.
One of my headlights were out and had been out for a couple of days. I was reliving the nostalgia of the college days and procrastinating in getting my headlights repaired. Finally, I decided to do it on a Wednesday afternoon after work. Big mistake. It was rush hour traffic!
I went to 3 different places before settling with Express Lube on De Zavala. Patience truly is a virtue because I am a huge fan of this place now. All the other shops I went to (Midas, Meineke, Wal-​Mart) either had a 45 minutes to 1 hour plus wait. Some even said I had to come back the next day. I thought all hope was gone and I would be forever lost in the dark (literally).
Then I saw the light (white Express Lube sign)! I thought, what the heck, I went to 3 other stores, it won’t hurt to try one more. Best decision ever.
A great and friendly staff made my first experience a satisfactory visit. Most importantly, there was no wait! I was the next customer and they were ready to service my vehicle immediately. Also, I realized I needed an oil change and the shop also took care of that for me. On top of that, they check your tire pressures and vacuum your car for free (it comes with the service).
The workers took the time out to update and speak to me about other issues with my car. In total, I was there for about 35 minutes. I didn’t mind at all because I was so relived I was actually getting things done with my car.
The lobby/​waiting area is small but is nicely conditioned with comfortable leather seats and cable TV to entertain you during the wait.
