I give them four stars for their food options. You can get pizza, sandwiches, coffee, bottled tea which is really unusual for a movie theatre. The only thing I can’t stand is that the icy machine and soda machines are self serve so there’s a huge line and the icy machine is always out of order because of over use.

It’s a smaller theater but I think that’s better. It’s never that overly crowded and we’ve always been able to get tickets for any showing we wanted, not sold out like some theaters. I appreciate the assigned seating, when you have kids it comes in handy since you can walk in later and know your gonna sit where you want to. Drinks and popcorn are free refills and they have Starbucks as well as stone fired pizza available.

I tried out this theater on a Friday after school. I saw «Room», it was actually the only theater near me that it was showing at other than the Bijou. The theater is really cool inside and has a great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean enough for me. The only unfortunate thing about the Embassy 14 is that it does NOT have stadium style seating. The Santikos website says that it does have stadium style seating, but it definitely does not. Other than that one negative though it was a great experience. Projection quality is top notch, but the sound seemed a little weird to me. Depending on how the soundtrack was arranged the sound would echo. For example, in the film I saw the sound would echo during voiceover narration. Maybe this is how it was supposed to be, but I HIGHLY doubt it. Also, incase anyone is interested, this theater does have screen mattes. To conclude I will talk about the fellow audience members. They were all very nice and quiet and undisruptive. All in all, this is a great theater if nonstadium style seating doesn’t bother you.

Really good theater for the price and convenience it affords. Tix for matinée usually around 7bucks, soda about 5, same with pop corn too. Theaters are usually clean and usually empty too, which is always nice for me. The sound and screen are great too, not even close to the imax but definitely enjoyable enough to where I keep coming back.

This movie theater is not running effectively at all. They have you choose seats but no one seats you so by the time you make it to your seat someone is already in it. If that’s not bad enough people Wil continue to ask you to move until your sitting on the floor with your 3year old in your lap. Take some responsibility embassy 14 theater respect your customers if your going to make us pick our seats at least asign a usher to make sure you get the seat you pay for. over all I’m completely humiliated and will never recommend any one go to this theater .they don’t care about any one… all I wanted to do is watch a movie with my kid thanks embassy 14 I really appreciate you making hell on earth.

Crew doesn’t know or have information of estimated distance of seat section to screens in reserved settings, so don’t bother asking underpaid employees about this standard services. Spend money and don’t ask for services; shut up and pay or you’ll be seen as a weirdo/​rude customer.

I hate the reserve seating! Takes 4 times as long to buy a ticket at the box office because people are picking their seats. Completely stupid idea. Too bad I like the convenience of this theatre for over 15 years. I doubt we will come back.

They do not have adequate security in there parking lot. We had our $ 700.00 radio stolen from our car while we were watching a movie there. The guy had plenty of time to just sit in our car un hook everything and no one saw him. They have no security so if you have a nice stereo system do not go there it will be taken! !!! I gave them a star just because I had to in order to leave this post. They don’t deserve a single star!!! Too fucking cheep to get security for thete parking lot!!!

Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering the $ 11 beef quesadillas here and got a frozen wasteland of flavorless disappointment :-(other than food and an employee burping in the lobby, the movie was great.

We just watched a movie here, tonight and the experience was not good at all! Unfortunately.
First of all, it’s reserved seating, which is good but not when you can only enter and exit the rows from one side!!! Ridiculous. The staff member selling tickets at the window forgot to mention that «oh so important «fact. You can also order food and have it delivered to your seat, which is fan damn tastic!!! But not when you are stuck against the wall and having to be forced to bother 10 people to get your order from the waitresses and to go right back on bother the same ten to sit down.
What a terrible experience this was

Santikos is usually a great experience. We had been to them all, except embassy row. Well, this is the first and last time.
This theater needs to fix that issue about the rows. If an emergency were to unfortunately happen it would be that much more chaotic for people to exit

This great neighborhood gem of a theater has gone through several minor remodels over the past 5 years… and still hasn’t seemed to realize the potential they have to make all of the space they have a truly fun family experience.

Everything you could want from a theatre-​going experience. They’ve got all you can drink pop and Icee (for the same price!), the popcorn is fresh, the ticket prices aren’t horrible, and the theatres themselves are clean and well appointed. All the staff is friendly and fairly accommodating. If I had to post something negative, I’d say the lack of covered parking is a real drag during the hot Texas summers.
Also, they have electric vehicle charging stations if that’s something of interest to you.

Quick ride in a Über for me to this theatre.
I like to indulge myself in a couple of nice tall pints of cold Dos Equis when I am here.
The bar staff here is professional & friendly as well as they run a clean bar and take good care of their taps, I notice these things because my other half is in the beverage industry. Beer is always super cold and frosty. They have great Pizza here too, plus they will bring a whole one right to you or you can just order by the slice as well.
You can also choose a salad or other deli type snacks, plus the traditional stuff as well.
They carry my favorite peach Tazo too and that is also a refreshing choice if I am not having a beer. The remodel looks good guys & I like to see that you guys have been stepping things up and raising the bar at this location over the past 3 years. Which is probably in order since I believe this is where they do their trainings & corporate stuff.Mr.Santikos is probably pretty proud of this location. Keep up the good work guys.

This was THE go-​to movie theater for the cool kids when I was in middle school. Judging by the number of minivans unloading kids Friday through Sunday, this is still the case.
The neon light exterior reminds me of the 80s, and the seats and projectors have seen better days (and probably a lot of bodily fluids), but the lobby has classed up and added a coffee shop and pizza bistro.
Staff is pleasant, especially considered their required bowtie for their uniforms.

I’m a big movie goer and this is always my go to place. With their 4−6pm $ 6 extravaganza they make the experience affordable. They recently remodeled the entrance and it looks perfect, their staff is always friendly and working hard.
Also, as any Santikos they offer movie rewards but Embassy makes it easier to accumulate points since they have their $ 6 extravaganza!

I love Santikos Embassy. It’s pretty much the only theater we go to, especially because the movies are $ 5 between 4 and 6 pm! You can’t beat that! The concession stands and bars have been remodeled and look great (ps…the margaritas are cheap and strong)! The seats are comfortable and there’s never a huge crowd (at least when we go). Santikos Embassy is the way to go!

My sister and I always come here! The seats are comfortable and staff is always pleasant!
I especially love this theatre because it gets most of the foreign/​independent movies you only see at the Bijou!

Is it bad to like this place a lot just because they pour their «wine by the glass» into 12 oz plastic cups? Typical movie theater routine, but their bar and bartender are are are would make me come back!

I have always been a fan of Santikos Embassy 14. The prices are around the same as any other. I really enjoy the fact that I live so close.
I do like the fact that it never seems overly crowded. They do get great business but there are never TOO many people. I am happy it is not like the Palladium or Alamo Quarry where its like herding sheep.
The fountain drinks are a plus as well!

This theater holds a special place in my heart. When my dad was the projectionist at this location when it first opened in the 80s *insert «awww”* and I wondered the halls during the day time walking in and out of movies as a kid.
There has been some major changes to this theater! New paint, new bathrooms, new floors, new pour your own beverages! I’m amazed how great the renovations are here.
Always happy to come to this theater. It’s my favorite over all of the theaters in San Antonio and that’s solely due to my heart strings.
