History

Established in 1995.

We specialize in a diverse range of speech therapy services. We originally specialized in treating disorders associated with speech and language disorders, to include specifically bilingual communication disorders and childhood apraxia. Most recently, we have enrolled in various continuing educational programs to broaden our speech services to children with feeding disorders (children with G-​tubes, food aversions, etc.). At DSTS we love our clients and we love our parents!

Meet the Manager

Ruth B.

Manager

Ruth C. Battiato earned her degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX in August 1999. She has a broad range of experence working with children and adults with communcation disorders. She has worked in several settings to include schools, home health, early childhood intervention, and skilled nursing/​acute rehab facilities in hospitals. Ruth is a certified member of the American Speech-​Language-​Hearing Associations. She has earned two ACE Awards from ASHA for her continued education.
