Description

Specialties

Dive-Masters specializes in diver education, with an emphasis on knowledge of academic materials and experience in the water. We don’t really like to throw a bunch of gear at you to purchase from the very beginning, because you really don’t know what you want yet as a new diver. However, when you’re ready to make a purchase, we are more than welcome to give you our honest opinion of what gear meets your needs.

Course-wise, we teach through both Scuba Schools International (SSI) and the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI). Our courses range from the entry level Open Water Diver/Scuba Diver courses, and go all the way up to various Dive Instructor levels. We also teach specialty courses such as Rescue Diver, Salvage Diving, Wreck Diving, Night/Limited Visibility, Perfect Buoyancy, Nitrox, and many more. On top of this, we also have an instructor on staff who teaches through the Diver Alert Network (DAN), and is certified to teach advanced diver first aid courses, as well as Basic Life Support.

History

Established in 1976.

Founded in 1976, Dive-Masters of San Antonio remains the oldest dive shop in San Antonio. With a few locations in our past, we finally made it to our current hope in 1990, off of Grissom Road. On site, we have a covered pool which gets down to about 13 feet in the deep end.

We teach a variety of courses from beginning Open Water Diver all the way to Dive Professional training as an instructor and beyond!

The best way to reach us is is by phone or email, but we always welcome you to come on by and chat us up.

We look forward to seeing you in!
