History
Established in 1983.
We opened in 1983 from the ground up, and everyone knows us as the restaurant with the green roof on red stilts. We strive to provide our guests with the best quality and value of food, service, and traditional décor. We pride ourselves as a local family-run establishment that welcomes visits from groups with multiple generations.
Much like our historic city of San Antonio, Ding How comes from a great family legacy dating back to 1938. That was the year our sister restaurant Hung Fong was founded. Armed with extensive knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking and many years of operating Hung Fong, the next generation of the family decided to open Ding How in 1983.
