Chic Concepts

I found Chic Concepts off of a wedding website. I live in northern Michigan and have been relying on online reviews to help me find my vendors. I don’t feel great about leaving such a review about someone’s business, but I really feel another bride in my shoes needs to be warned.
Nicolette seemed excited to handle the florals for my wedding/​reception. We had a smallish budget, but she assured me it didn’t matter. She scheduled a phone meeting for a few days later and asked me to send photos of bouquets and arrangements that went with my design ideas. The phone meeting went well, too. Nicolette loved my ideas and had several of her own. She was going to contact our reception venue for specifics on the room set-​up and have the designs/​quotes for me by the next week.
Fast forward to three weeks later, when I’m still waiting for this information. Any seasoned bride or event planner would know to find someone else, but I really liked Nicolette and gave all of her excuses (busy/​sickness) the benefit of the doubt. But, with my wedding looming in three weeks, I needed to get the floral vendor/​designs/​prices locked down now. I told her all of this and asked for the information that day. Thirty minutes later, she sent me what she’d worked three weeks on– two sketches and the quotes. I’ve attached the sketches so you could see what I waited so long for and could draw your own conclusions.
