Cajun Nights Sports Bar

Just wanted to say I’m from New Orleans and this place definitely gives a New Orleans feel. Only setback is that I couldn’t find a working number but that almost adds to the charm giving it a speakeasy feel. Good mixed crowd with good food. They also didn’t have any hot sausage. Anyone from New Orleans will tel you, you MUST have hot sausage. Good location. And is definitely gonna become a «spot».

This hidden spot is truly a gem. Run by a Louisiana native and it shows. Phenomenal gumbo, po’boys, crawfish tacos, etc. He has an amazing roux. Quality food and great charm. I go often and will continue to do so.

Great atmosphere. Excellent gumbo. Friendly staff. Price is right! The owners honor their Louisiana heritage with their Cajun themed fare; but this cheery sports bar is welcoming to all fans out there. Highly recommend.

Came here for the first time today. Wasn’t expecting much, but boy o boy, was I pleasantly surprised.
I got the chicken & sausage called «The Patrick.» Great stuff !!
My son got a burger and was stuffed before he finished it. He, too, also felt the food was amazing.
The owner, Brandon, was very personable !
If you were disappointed in Louis LeDeaux closing in The Forum several years back, then come here and get your Cajun fill.

Loved it! Food was perfectly fried and flavored. Service on pointe, friendly and courteous.

Delicious. Love this place. I come here regularly to get my fix! Everything is good so there’s no bad choices. Awesome football atmosphere. No complaints!

What I loved about this place is that we came on during a Saints game and it was full of saints fans. Now for the rest.
1) the employees didn’t seem to care when new customers came in and never greeted us we had to climb back out to order food and drinks.
2) they never cleaned up the tables. Dirty dishes and plates sat on our table for 2 hours.
3) why do we have to hunt down a waitress again for a drink refill? Does she not want to make tips? Good lord.
4) the food was mediocre and it’s $ 4-​$ 5 PER TACO with zero sides.
Would come here for a game again but not for the food, just for the atmosphere.

Everything we had was very good. I had the catfish tacos with gumbo side and I will be back for this again. Nice small place with good food and service.

This is where you go to watch the New Orleans Saints NFL football games with Who Dat Nation Social & Pleasure Club of SA… This is exactly what I was looking for a couple of years ago when Saints were in the playoffs… and I found Crawdad’s (RIP)… and guess who I ran into at Cajun Nights… yep, Brandon & Paula… They are back!!! They both remembered us and what a fun day that was even tho the Saints lost that day a couple of years ago… and they were excited to see we found them again.
My experience might be different from yours but we had a damn good time!
Sun 04 Oct Cowboys vs Saints 7:30pm
We arrived and the place was semi full and we weren’t too sure what to do, where to sit. The President of Who Dat Nation of SA came over introduced himself and helped us find a place to sit down, right in the middle table with some other members. On the way over to the bar, my husband and I were talking about Crawdad’s and was wondering if they same cats might be here… and low and behold… there was Paula to greet us and then Brandon came out from the kitchen. We talked about the menu a bit, what was new (cajun tacos), and what they were out of (alligator).
Food:
Meat Pies, Shrimp Po Boy with onion rings, Seafood Gumbo, Crawfish Tacos are what we sampled that night… all were great… Wish I room to sample more so will have to make it back to try some alligator, frog legs, or whatever else we missed.
Drinks:
Out of Abita Amber. Only Abita Purple Haze. I should take a star off for not having Abita and Abita specials when the Saints are playing… but there was a good Bud special going on $ 2 … so when I asked about the buckets around on the tables, I was told the Bud rep was there sitting behind us and buckets were free right now so that’s what we ordered… Thank you Bud!!! I was very surprised that I enjoyed the Bud as much as I did, but having it served ice cold made all the difference for sure. I’ll have to try some of their specialty drinks next time.
Atmosphere:
… was not what I expected. The music was way too loud when we walked in. I almost wanted to sit in the zone way off around the corner, although I am so happy we didn’t. It was fun being in the middle of all the action. The DJ had the music pumping which gave me mixed emotions. I’m all for the Jazz, Blues, and Zydeco that would be expected but I’m not into any rap or hip hop. Not quite sure I would like to be in the venue on a regular night. Cajun Nights being a sports bar, there were plenty of TVs for your viewing pleasure.

Love this place. The food was great!!! I was born and raised in New Orleans, so my taste buds know good food.
I wish they had more beers on tap. We will definitely be back to watch some football.

Trying out a me place. My husband’s favorite city is NOLA so how could we resist? Ordered Cajun tacos crawfish and shrimp with a side of gumbo. The tacos were amazing. The crawfish and shrimp were lightly breaded and tasty. Seafood gumbo was good but was really impressed with the seafood. Give it a try.

Full disclosure, this place recently opened and it appears it is still trying to find its way. When I arrived the music was so loud I did not know if I was in a club, a bar, or restaurant. I am betting they are still trying to figure out what they are.
Food– I ordered a catfish po-​boy with a side of seafood gumbo. The bread on the po-​boy was on point. Same bread you find in New Orleans. Seafood gumbo was good. Not bad. The food in general was not bad. Nothing really stands out.
I look forward to this place to work out their identity issues. I will try this place again in a few months as they just recently got their liquor license and they had a very limited alcohol options. When I arrived I got the last abita beer they had. Anyone who knows beer, abita is a local New Orleans beer. I will give this place another try and will update review accordingly.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of different times and each everytime they have been very courteous. The food is absolutely great. It has the most authentic tasting gumbo that I have had since I moved here. I recommend everyone to try it.

Cajun nights sports bar: is really the best place in my opinion to eat authentic Cajun food, from chicken and sausage gumbo to jambalaya, they have food you can eat all day. The staff here is very accommodating and is definitely here for the customer.

Love this new sports bar in town. Love the menu concept which is Latin and Cajun together. They open early for breakfast, serve a fast lunch and you must have their gumbo for dinner all while watching your favorite sports. Make plans to spend your football season here. Pet friendly!
