Grew up in the business — Grand father Rafael Penaloza came from Mexico as a master watchmaker in the 1920s. Left Penaloza & Sons Manufacturing Jewelers as President after seventeen years. Charter Senior Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. Accepted into /the American Gem Society as Registered Jeweler (RJ) in 1996.
