Michelle did a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable & beautiful. She is an extremely talented hair stylist and makeup artist and nobody else could’ve done such a great job — I was astounded at the quality of work she did in such a short time frame. All of my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and myself loved every single piece of our hair and makeup. I would HIGHLY recommend Beauty Concepts for any upcoming event.

My experience with Michelle has been positive. I chose Michelle because she was the most reasonably priced vendor who did both hair and makeup, and I liked her portfolio on her website. She is by appointment only, but she’s responsive by phone and email.
I used her for my engagement photos in June 2015 — I had makeup, blow dry and curl, and eyelashes. While I was afraid it was heavy in person (I do not wear much makeup) it looked good in the photos and I got a lot of compliments. I’m not sure what happened to Katie below, but she uses good quality products like MAC, urban decay, and smashbox.
I plan to use her again for my wedding, and scheduled her for all my bridesmaids and both mothers. I just did my trial run with her — she emailed ahead of time asking to reschedule due to a wedding on Sunday, so I moved it to Monday. Mondays are great because the regular salon her room is in is closed, so it was quiet and she was able to spend a good amount of time with me — we did 2 hairstyles and 1 makeup run, which I really appreciate. The hair was great — she really knows her stuff, and my curls lasted all night and the next day.
Now I will say she seems to prefer regular makeup over airbrush, which I originally wanted but she discouraged me from it — she stated that if I wanted airbrush after this first trial, I could schedule another trial. The makeup was initially heavy (being Asian I prefer a more natural look), and she politely and respectfully heeded my request to lighten the eye makeup. The individual lashes were fantastic and lasted all day and night. From far away her regular makeup looked airbrushed — the only noticeable part is when you zoom in/​look closely you can see the foundation on my skin. My skin is pretty good already so I was fine with regular (it lasted all day and night), but if you’re dead set on airbrush makeup, this is a consideration.
I will review her again after the wedding day, but overall she’s been polite, professional, and great with communication. For a bride (and anyone who has an event) who doesn’t want to bust their bank with ridiculous overpriced wedding vendors while still getting their hair and makeup professionally, I would definitely recommend her because she is a great value.

They sent a girl who did NOT know how to apply makeup for my wedding! She came with generic Walmart brand makeup, couldn’t even do eyeliner right. The worst experience ever! Had to go to KM Impressions to have them fix my make up as well as my maid of honors… The hair stylist, I gave her a photo and i understand it’s not going to be exact but it wasn’t even remotely similar. Then my sister who has curly hair, the lady said she has worked curly hair but clearly hasn’t and my sister ended up washing her hair again (because the stylist messed it up and couldn’t fix it)
