This place does not deserve a star. The service was over priced, and Mike very rude when I asked why the oil change was so high? He is a raciest and threaten to fail my car for inspection, not because something was wrong, but because he had a right to fail any car he choses. He did fail my car from looking at it, so he said a light bulb was out and that was enough for him not to do an inspection. Awful, awful, just a awful person to deal with. I went to another place, and the car immediately passed inspection.

Anderson Garage is a small building that is slightly set back from the street, meaning you’re very likely to blow right past it without ever seeing it. But thanks to the power of Unilocal,I was able to find a great resource for auto repair.
I inherited a 1999 Ford Ranger that needed a lot of work (electrical, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc.). Based some highly informative reviews by trustworthy Elite Unilocaler Eric F, I decided to give Anderson Garage a try. I called them and arranged to bring in the truck on the Friday afternoon before Labor Day – with the understanding they wouldn’t even look at it until the following Tuesday. They called me back on Tuesday afternoon with a detailed breakdown of recommended fixes and a $ 3700 price tag – which was actually very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I gave them the go-​ahead, and they said it would take «a few days» to do the work. Much to my surprise, they called me on Friday to say that all the work was done. Even more surprisingly, the total bill was now less than $ 3400! I have never before had a job come in at less than the estimate – astounding!
So Anderson Garage did a ton of work on my truck – quickly and for a great price. And the truck drives like new. These guys are the real deal. Check ‘em out!

Was a customer of Cambridge Auto, but even with a USAA discount they were always VERY pricey! When I had an accident, Art’s Paint & Body had Anderson Garage do the mechanical work on my vehicle. I have been a customer ever since! I’ve been back multiple times when my car needs service and they are always honest and very reasonable! When there was something that was too expensive to fix… they told me so! They didn’t try to sell it to me like many shops would! It is a smaller garage, so don’t expect an overage of mechanics sitting round waiting on cars! They are busy, but are good about telling you when they will get to your car and they keep their word! I wouldn’t take my car anyplace else! It’s hard to find a shop you really trust, but you can trust them! I sure do!

I’ve been here three times twice for brakes on different vehicles and once for a noise I was worried about. The noise problem turned out to be something very unimportant and they didn’t even charge me. The second set of brakes were quoted at just under $ 250 (including whatever rotor work) but when all was complete the total was just under $ 200.
The gentleman manning the counter had a seemingly uninterested way about him but I think it’s one of those «once you get to know him» situations. He was very friendly and accommodating considering I had to wait there while the repairs took place.

There are few places that offer this level of consideration for your safety, and their reputation. When I get an estimate from them it is as good as gold. When I get work done there its fixed, for good.
