Acucare

I have been a patient at Acucare since 2010, and Dr. Cecilia Gulyas has treated me for both chronic and acute problems. She is professional, courteous, thorough and one of the most caring practioners I have ever been treated by. Dr Gulyas not only seeks to treat the root of my problem but she offers advice and everyday solutions that help ease my symptoms. I had been to acupuncturists before, but Cecilia gets true long lasting results.

Dr Gulyas is truly amazing. I decided to see her after suffering from horrible Pms and polycystic ovaries. I had 3 doctors treat me to no avail. My symptoms were lower back and pelvic pain from the time of ovulation to the time of my period which was often late by a week to a month. I also gained weight especially on my stomach, my hair started falling, my skin started drying out, I couldn’t sleep, I grew skin tags, I had horrible mood swings and lack of energy. Two visits to dr Gulyas and I noticed a dramatic improvement on my sleep and stress level. I ovulated on the 14^th day like a normal person, and after the 3^rd visit I got my period on the 29^th day. This hadn’t happened in years! I wanted to cry but even my emotions were under control lol. I can’t thank her enough for all she’s done for me. She is patient, kind, caring, clean, and doesn’t make you wait. I know very few doctors with those qualities and I’m a nurse! I hope this review helps someone suffering with the same ailments. As long as they are consistent and follow her advise on diet and lifestyle changes as I did, there is no doubt in my mind that they will be cured.

I met with Dr. Cecilia Gulyas last October, about 4 months ago to seek alternative therapies for these reasons:
Help improve my vision /​eyesight, to help get off asthma steroidal spray that I’ve used for 7 years, increase energy and maintain or increase my peace of mind, help sexual libido, lower hand tremors, and achieve a better quality of sleep.
This may seem like a rather long list, but I somehow was confident that these all would be improved if Dr. Cecilia could stimulate specific acupuncture points correcting imbalances in the flow of qi.
Dr. Cecilia used acupuncture, diet counseling, and herbal remedies to accomplish my health goals. Oh, she also asked me to reconsider some medical «labels» that were placed upon me by doctors in the past.
After the first week the changes were noticeable by myself, family and friends. And the improvements continue as the weeks go on.
I am pleasantly surprised at how well Dr. Cecilia listens and takes notes, as she keeps of very detailed file on me. This is very rare in Western medicine, because most doctors work on numbers of patients processed. I am certainly convinced that good health cannot be achieved through the prescription pad.
I know there are many people around who have lost confidence in Western medicine and are looking for a viable alternative.
I can solidly attest that the methods of Dr. Celcilia Gulyas have worked for me. Both the Doctor and her staff are excellent in my estimation.

I heard about Acucare from a friend who was raving about the results he achieved after just a few visits. After my first few visits, I cannot believe that I am finally pain free after many, many years. Dr. Gulyas is a special find. She is very thorough and uses an holistic approach to your care.
