Established in 2014.

4−8−0 Hair Salon was started a year with the goal of providing excellent service and great results. Moving from Phoenix, Arizona I decided to bring a bit of that city into San Antonio by naming the salon after the area code.

With a little less than a decade as a seasoned professional stylist, I have an undying passion for hair as well as making guests look and feel beautiful. I love creating an individual look for a guest that transforms them from the outside in. My values for a professional atmosphere supports my commitment to delivering above and beyond service with a thorough consultation to determine the clients’ vision and provide incomparable customer satisfaction. Watching a client walk out of the salon with a new-​found confidence and bounce in their step is the ultimate goal.

I have always been uneasy when it came to getting my hair done because of hair dressers cutting it too short or a misunderstanding of what I wanted to get done. So I didn’t see anyone or do anything to my dry, damaged hair for probably 2 – 3 years. When I came across Amanda’s Instagram and Unilocal page and saw how well she could color/​cut/​style and the positive reviews, I had to see her. I made an appointment on January 5, 2016 and from the moment I met her she was so warming, friendly, and welcome! I showed her a picture of what I wanted to achieve (which was balayage blonde highlights framing my face) and she instantly got to work! She suggested that in order to safely get it to the blonde I wanted, that we had to slowly progress to it. So a month and a half and 3 appointments later, I am officially in love with the final result! I love that Amanda is professional, super organized, and can handle multiple clients at a time. Thank you for giving my hair life again, Amanda!

I have been searching for a hair stylist and I found Amanda, of all places on Instagram. I went in for a color and cut and it came out amazing ! She is very friendly and does great work. I’ve always been a little (very) vain when it comes to my appearance so finding the right hair stylist has always been important to me. Amanda has been doing my hair for more than 7 years. She has done everything from trim to layers, highlights, low lights, all over color, ombré, and even extensions. She is professional and always listens to what I want. She is also honest in what looks may be challenging to achieve or keep. She has never gone scissor (razor) crazy or insisted her «new technique» was something I needed to try. If you are looking for someone who has integrity and provides excellent customer service call to make an appointment with Amanda. Her new salon is classy and beautiful. The experience is nothing short of amazing!!! I highly recommend her.

It’s been about a year that I have had the privilege of Amanda working her magic on my hair. On the beginning, impression was tainted, not because of her but the situation she was put in. With 3 people scheduled at once, she managed her time well and had each customer more then pleased with their hair.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for a follow up trim/​cut or a «new you» go see Amanda. Ease of scheduling, professionalism, experience, uniqueness and overall end result are some of the characteristics you won’t find anywhere else.

I love the way Amanda does my hair. The cut is always perfect in every way. No matter what my request, she leaves me feeling and looking fabulous! I’m difficult to color, yet she gets it right every time. Thank you Amanda!
