History
Established in 2005.
The first location «The Ranch of San Anselmo» was devastated right after opening by the great 100 year flood on December 31, 2005. Even though everything in the front and the back was washed away and the inside had 4 feet of water, The Ranch of San Anselmo arose like Phoenix from its ashes and still remains.
Its location speaks for it self. The Ranch is located literally on top of the Corte Madera creek surrounded by a dozen redwood trees and with views of Bald Hill and Mount Tamalpais. The Ranch Salons are all connected by the same creek and mountain.
In an ever changing world with «political correctness» and equality, young and old men need a place where they can be themselves, charge their batteries and get a new fresh start. Father and son getting a hair cut together an American tradition. The Ranch Salons provides a tribute to past, present and future with pictures of American heroes on the walls and a living room environment.

Meet the Business Owner
Andreas A.
Business Owner
Andreas Ade is from Stockholm, Sweden. He was a barber on board the Swedish military ship HMS Carlskrona where he cut hair around the world.
He is a «renaissance man and a jack of all trades» but enjoys cutting people of all walks of life’s hair off the most. What is better then «hairing» somebody’s life story and making them look and feel great? At the same time getting them off to a new fresh start!
He now resides in the (Best of the West), Marin County, California where he lives with his wife Yvonne. They enjoy traveling, especially exploring the Bay Area Backroads. When he’s not running a Marathon or Escaping from Alcatraz Triathlon (back in the good ol’ days) he likes to wrestle his dog, Lenny Duke.
He is kind of a funny fella that both enjoys good friends, or an expensive beer all by his lonesome in front of The Man Show. He likes to head bang to all types of music and reads and listens to any (body) thing that makes him travel without moving.
