I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in geriatric psychotherapy, support, advocacy and information about resources for midlife and older adults and their families in Marin. I have advanced training, education and experience in working with clients on issues having to do with growing older, such as: retirement, moves, adjustment to life changes, grief and loss, anxiety, loneliness, coping with caregiver stress, chronic illness/​pain, exploring new meaning and purpose in later life, life review, rediscovering creativity and spirituality. My clients are seniors, adult children of aging parents, and families. I have served older populations in Marin and San Francisco for 12 years in a variety of capacities including as a counselor, advocate, educator, support group facilitator, hospice caregiver, and geriatric care manager. I provide in-​office, in-​home (for homebound individuals) and telephone sessions.

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Credentialed Professional Gerontologist Serving midlife and older individuals and families for over a decade. My expertise includes competency with issues encountered in aging such as changing roles, retirement, caregiving, anxiety, depression, advocacy needs, multigenerational relationship healing, chronic pain or illness, etc. I am uniquely qualified as a counselor, educator and consultant serving this population ins Marin. My prior careers were in the medical field as an EMT and birth doula, and later as an successful executive and entrepreneur in technology.

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Credentialed Professional Gerontologist. I specialize in serving midlife and older individuals and families for the past 12 years in Marin. My expertise and experience are unique amongst health professionals in this area. Prior to my current career as a counselor, educator and consultant, I was an EMT working as a medic in a rural clinic in Tennesse. Later I entered the field of technology and worked as an executive and entrepreneur for several successful companies including Women​.com which I co-​founded and America Online.
