El Mezcal

I went here with 2 gal friends and I ordered the chicken super quesidilla with no guac. It was delicious as always! not over cooked or dried out. It was definitely fresh and juicy. This is my go to mexican place. My friend ordered a quesidilla suiza and beef nachos for us to share. The portions were big enough for all 3 of us to share the nachos, which the chips are home made, not store bought. And the other friend ordered 3 small tacos, which were too spicy for her but she can’t do spices very well, she said it was good still. All in all for what we paid for the freshness and quickness of the food, it was delicious and i will be back to try more items on the menu.

My wife had carnitas nachos and I had the chicken enchiladas. The Carnitas earned the 5 stars along with the friendly service. Enchiladas was simple and uncomplicated

Delicious food, friendly staff, fast service and good prices. I also love that they have homemade horchata and a decent beer selection. I typically get either carnitas or fish soft tacos, both are yummy. Husband gets burrito bowls or super burritos, also very good. Large portions. I do recommend getting the hot salsa and jalapeños because it’s got to be spicy when eating Mexican. Now if only they could get margaritas there. :)

Great place with fast friendly service and amazing prices. I eat here often and the burritos are huge and the nacho fries are great. Will recommend to friends and family.

If I could give this place more stars I would! Food was great! But the staff is nice and friendly makes you feel right at home! My kids are very shy and one of the times we went in just to pick up food the lady at the front start talking to my little one and had her telling her all about her day at school. I was so pleasantly surprised and you definitely have my vote if you make my kids happy.

Always good. So affordable and a great atmosphere for a casual sit-​down. Their chile relleno always blows me away. I always tip big because I can’t believe how inexpensive the plates are for what we get!

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food was great! Carnitas taco, chilies Relanos. Fast friendly service.

Service is awesome and the owners are super friendly!!! Food is a bit bland and plain, but I realize they’re trying to appeal to the largest majority of people. Prices are great and portions are generous. Get the shrimp burrito!

I ordered the carnitas tacos and they were amazing. everybody else ordered something different and it was very very good my son order the horchata and I was refreshingly fresh. The ladies who served us were very friendly and super nice. We will make this our stop going forward.

Very excited to find such great Mexican Food in these parts. We had the Carnita’s Platter Very Good. Great prices, friendly and very accommodating. Good job!

They bring you chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. I got chile rellano burrito with beef added and it was HUGE. Only 6 $. Delicious guac. Every body I went with said the food was absolutely delicious. Their meat is super good.

I love this restaurant! And not just because it’s the only Mexican food in town. I’ve never had a bad meal, the staff is friendly and efficient and the service is fast. I have a large family and they always accommodate us.

Two of us enjoyed a lunch here on our way back from Thanksgiving. Service was excellent and the portions very generous! It’s just well done Mexican food. Nothing fancy, just good food. The décor is nice and you can park on the street right out front. If you feel like Mexican and are in the neighborhood this is the place!

Wonderful food, fast friendly service, we eat here at least once a week. The prices are very reasonable, and they make there own Horcata! Love, love, love the Horcata! Best rellenos I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The Carnitas is also on top of the scale. I’m very picky about carnitas, and theirs is delicious!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I’m giving them 5 stars because of their awesome, friendly staff and lightning fast service. Seriously. I timed them once from placing the order to getting the food on the table — 4 ½ minutes. Great prices too. Don’t forget to try their spicy salsa and chunky guacamole.

Stopped here for Mexican breakfast and it was spectacular! Had a Mexican burrito with chorizo, potatoes and cheese which did not disappoint! It was $ 6.50 and comes with chips and salsa. Will be back!

For most dishes, this restaurant ranks no higher than a 3. The service is super friendly and the portions generous, but the food tends to be poorly executed and doesn’t have the freshness and pizazz I associate with good Mexican food. HOWEVER, I found a sleeper on the menu that really surprised: the shrimp cocktail. As some of you may know, Mexican shrimp cocktail is more of a cold shrimp soup, a gazpacho – not the half dozen prawns with cocktail sauce you get at American seafood restaurants. And, let me tell you, this Mexican shrimp cocktail did not disappoint. Huge bowl of lime-​spiked cold soup with tons of shrimp, fresh chopped peppers, onions, cucumbers, avocado, jalapeños, and cilantro. This seriously fresh, tangy, healthy surprise earns Mezcal an additional star. It’s a worth-​the-​price must-​try for lunch on a hot day.

I’ve really enjoyed my food every time I’ve been to this place! I’d rather go here than any of the other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Fantastic place for casual lunch or dinner… they even serve breakfast. Great Mexican food!!! Family owned. All the staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. I don’t know how they serve you the food for such low prices. I know I can eat there cheaper than I can make it at home. Our favorite place to go and I think we go at least 1 or 2x a week and we just got back from Mexico.

Authentic is the word. Very flavorful and well presented. I had tacos de lengua. Very good. The service is fast and friendly.
