History

Established in 2011.

Kniticality began in a box. Amy was (and is) a knitting and crochet teacher, and she began selling supplies from a cardboard box at her classes. From there, she added yarn, and soon the box (es) were just too much to haul around… they were also taking over the house! So a retail shop was born. Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

Amy loves knowing that somewhere out there folks she taught are knitting away, working on yarns and projects they adore, maybe even teaching others. She loves finding just the right yarn in that color… yes that one… for that perfect pattern, then making certain her customers have the skills they need to be happy with the finished product. Living and working in the Saluda, NC mountains is perfect for Amy and her family, away from the noise and bustle of the city.
