Says they’re open ’til 11, but they just turned me away at 9:30p. I’m sick and dragged myself to this HEAVILY OVERPRICED dump at the expense of time I could’ve taken going to another place with a decent last wash time, given their advertised closing time.
Small front loaders are FIVE DOLLARS… an obscene price, even downtown.
Do yourself a favor and pass.

Sweet worker! I don’t know if it’s just her working here, but she does a great job! I didn’t have any cash on me so I asked if they had an ATM, she said they do but they charge 3 $ for any transaction so she suggested I go to the Rite Aid across the street, buy something, & just get cash back.
She also told me I could leave my stuff in the washer & she offered to watch it for me while I was gone.
There was also some people in here bothering some people trying to sell CDs or something. She told them they couldn’t do that in there & made them leave (although they were persistent). So you can tell she’s tough when need be.
If I lived in Salt Lake, I would come here all the time because even though it’s just a laundry mat, it feels like a safe place.

The sign outside Century Cleaning Barn said «Tour Groups Welcome». After I recovered from my laughing fit, I went inside to see just what was inside this laundromat.
Well, it is a laundromat, larger than average. They do also provide a service where you can drop off your dirty laundry and they will clean it for you. As a business traveler, I subsequently used this service several times and was always very happy. The prices are very reasonable, the girls that work there are super nice and helpful, and usually it is done in about two hours.
Century is open 7 days a week, from 7AM to 11PM, so that is really convenient. There is also a really killer taco stand in the parking lot!
