History
Established in 1978.
Dr. N. Branson Call began his practice in Salt Lake City seeing a high volume of facial trauma and eyelid disorders along with general eye related issues. He has built a reputation for excellent care and has distinguished himself with this humanitarian work all over the world. Dr. Harris joined Dr. Call in 2011 and they formed Utah Oculoplastic Consultants to service the needs of Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah as well as their surrounding areas.

Matheson Harris, M D.

Dr. Harris is a board certified Ophthalmologist and Ophthalmic surgeon, also specializing in functional and cosmetic oculoplastic and facial surgery. A native of Utah, he completed his undergraduate education first at Dixie College, then Southern Utah University. He went on to complete medical school at Penn State University, followed by an internship at the Milton S. Hershey Medical center and residency in Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He then completed an ASOPRS (American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) fellowship, with special training in orbital and lacrimal surgery, in addition to eyelid and facial reconstruction. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Harris has published many peer-reviewed articles and presented research at several national meetings. He is also a clinical professor at the University of Utah, providing oculoplastic care to the veterans at the Salt Lake VA Medical Center.
