History

Established in 1996.

Tile For Less started out nearly 20 years ago by purchasing discontinued and overstock tile and selling it at good-​guy deals to the public. Over the years we have expanded to bring you first quality tile from around the world while keeping our modest look, and warehouse style show room. In June of 2014 the business was purchased by two of the employees and is now locally owned and operated!

Michele & Matt have first hand experience in home improvement and remodeling. Their first project was a complete restoration of an 1890’s house here in town. «We had to cook dinner in the back yard and do dishes with the hose for over 6 months!» Michele learned to install tile while Matt took a crash course in electrical and plumbing. The next project was a 1920’s duplex, then in 2011 they began construction on a fully custom home. «We did most of the work ourselves, with the help of neighbors, family and friends using a LOT of repurposed and reclaimed materials.» Matt and Michele feel that their personal experience can translate to an understanding of their customer that few can match. «Learn from all of MY mistakes!» Says Michele on a busy Saturday while explaining to a customer how to lay out the tile for their kitchen floor.
