Tech Authority was established in 2011 and officially opened in 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tech Authority’s mission is to provide superior customer service in computer repair and small business IT. Tech Authority strives to make technology accessible to all as it becomes an increasingly important part of all our lives.

Meet the Business Owner

Phil M.

Business Owner

Phil graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2005 with a B.S. in Computer Science. However, it is Phil’s love for computers and technology (and gaming!) – not just a degree – that led him to open a computer repair business. Phil has been deconstructing and «breaking» computers since the age of 8. Because of this enthusiasm, there is nothing he can’t fix. However, many times it is cost prohibitive to fix a machine, and he will walk you through your options in that case, too. Phil believes that helping people understand technology and securing their data is important. Whether you become a customer the first time you speak with him or realize his value later, he is your «go-​to guy» for computer repairs and IT.

All repairs are designed, supervised, and signed off by Phil, so you can be confident that you will receive exceptional service by all tech specialists – even when Phil is out on a service call or busy with another client.
