I eat here almost every day. Great food, but it REALLY lacks consistency. If they are ever busy, don’t expect good quality. Every time I’ve gone during rush hour I’ve gotten half empty dishes or dishes missing ingredients. I love having a healthy option but they really need to step their game up…

So slow that there was no one here. The gym staff didn’t seem to care or have a clue of where the Pulp staff went. What a waste of my lunch break!

This Pulp isn’t at the Galavan Plaza. It’s in the Gym in City Creek. It only had smoothie and juice options. No soup, salad or anything else. It was $ 6.50 for a 12 oz smoothie! And the smoothies weren’t even good! A waste of money, but left no doubt in my mind where I’m never going again.

Incredibly slow, plastic fragments in my salad. I see prior reviewers complained about lunch-hour wait months ago, so not sure why Pulp continues to allow that to be a problem: add lunch hour staff, and at 11 a.m. you start preparing at least components of the most popular meals. A take-out salad shouldn’t take 40 minutes. I was grumpy about the wait, then blown away when I saw multiple bits of hard white plastic in my meal, including a couple chunks of plastic with sharp edges that would have cut my gums if I hadn’t seen them first. I walked back and obtained a refund. The cashier was appropriately contrite and refunded my cash, but(a) it took a while to actually get the refund, and(b) typically when a business screws up they’ll bend over backward offering you a coupon or something to entice you to return, but there obviously has been no training on that aspect of customer service. Sorry Pulp, you blew it with this Unilocaler.

Couldn’t be more please to have a great healthy option for breakfast and lunch in the Gallivan plaza! Hands down the best turkey sausage I’ve ever had without feeling too guilty! Pair that with the Pulp hash, and I’m ready for another long day at the office. If you are going for the quinoa pancakes– prepare yourself! They are very filling!

Check out the new location — easier to find — on Gallivan Avenue! Many of the same amazing menu items, plus some tasty additions. Also open for breakfast on weekends! Gallivan Ave is a mid-block street, just south of the Gallivan Plaza and Marriott City Center Hotel. Access is from 300 South between State and Main, or from State Street south of the Marriott.

They closed early and refused service because juice maker was cleaned. Huge bummer, oh well.

This place is hard to find! Critical fact, my Unilocal friends: it’s in the mall, in a gym, the gym is called The Gym, and The Gym is on the 3rd floor of the mall. None of this was apparent to me when I was searching for it. But oh man was it worthwhile! Green smoothies to die for — the perfect post-run reward.

OKAY. I’ve really been wanting to try Pulp. I finally make it over just before lunch and there’s only one girl working. That’s fine — I’ve got time. Unfortunately she’s also new(I assume). In the end, it took 45 mins to get an acai bowl, no one had any idea if the granola was GF(it’s not FYI) and she couldn’t figure out how to work the PB machine. The bowl tasted fine in the end, but nothing amazing. It’d be great if they trained the babies before pushing them out of the nest.

I was in town for a conference and needed my daily juice fix. We avidly searched Unilocal for a good juice bar, and we were happy to see that Pulp was still open for another hour. We agreed to make a two mile walk from our hotel to Pulp, even though it was pouring rain, and neither of us had hoods or umbrellas. With delicious green juice as our shining beacon of motivation, we navigated our way to Pulp like cold wet rats. We made it to the 3rd floor gym where the juice bar is located and breathed a sigh of relief. Still 20 minutes from closing time! Wrong! The Thursday night employee looked at us and nonchalantly informed us «we’re closed». I persisted that they weren’t supposed to close for another 20 minutes and that we walked two miles in the rain just to get two cups of juice. He just shrugged and said«it was a slow day». Apparently this meant that washing the juicer again was out of the question(or all fruits and veggies were already thrown out the window when he decided he didn’t want to do anymore labor for the rest of the night). He then made it clear he was no longer going to acknowledge me as a human being and that I was completely out of line for trying to give them business during their business hours. Extremely disappointed and now irritated, we left and got two delicious cups of juice at Roxberry down at the food court. The girl there served us happily.

I had two green juices, one shot of wheat grass, and one Tropic of Cancer acai bowl. It was all amazing! Best juice and sweet wheat grass I have had in a long time. It is located in THEGYM. You have to park and find your way to the third floor. Parking: frustrating Prices: 16 oz juices were: $ 5.50 each Wheatgrass shot: $ 3 Acai bowl: $ 3 I would go again. =)

Great juice and smoothie bar in slc. Prices are awesome! Love the options on the menu. I got a grasshopper smoothie with almond milk and hemp protein which was killer post workout. Also got a green juice, which was on point. My buddy also got an acai bowl. The only thing about this spot is that it is tricky to find! You have to navigate through a shopping mall and find the correct elevator to the 3rd floor and the finally there is the juice bar located in The Gym. It’s worth the effort though!

Awesome place — I wanted just fresh squeezed juice, not a smoothie and this place was perfect. A bit hard to find as an out of towner but asked the valet guy nearby — he was clueless so I called. It’s located inside The Gym — which is an awesome looking workout club, with the Pulp inside. The perfect place for fresh food and fresh squeezed juice!

We got the tropical thunder with cocao which was good, but not as amazing as the monkey business with shredded coconut! I would definitely recommend the monkey business with coconut!!! The girl at the counter was pleasant and made our smoothies very fast!

Like others have mentioned, a but tricky to find as it’s located at the Gym at City Creek. I will definitely go back again soon. Had the PB Panini which was pretty tasty and their juice combos are pretty nice as well.

Juice was great and like others have said not over priced! It was hard to find, located near the Cheesecake Factory. I had the PB panini which was decent. I would definitely go back if I’m ever in Salt Lake!

THISPLACEISHARDTOFIND. I REPEATTHISPLACEISHARDTOFIND… its actually in the gym in the new mall.(which was freaking amazingggggg. THEREWERETROUTIN A STREAMINTHEMALL!!! IDNEVERSEEN A TROUTINMYLIFE!!!) anyway, we needed a little energy and im not a caffine person, so we went to pulp after doing a little shopping and were pleasantly surprised, especially by the prices. im used to a 8 – 14 dollar juice and this one was 5.50… which is unheard of for juice(in NYC at least) the guy making it was really pleasant and efficient. what more can you ask for?

Stopped by this juice bar while in salt lake, and I’m hooked. I had the«Drop da beet»(suggested with hemp) and my husband ordered the«Silverback Gorilla.» They made my son a fresh apple juice. Tricky to find… ask the mall valet for directions. Wish I had something this easy and healthy near home.

Went here today and WOW!!! The smoothie was delicious and the panini I got was delicious as well. The worker was very fast and so so kind. I wish I would have gotten his name so I could give him a shout out. Thanks !

I am surprised by the quality of fresh ingredients at this juice bar. All the ingredients are freshly juiced in front of you, and you have the option of almond, soy, flax seed or 2% milk. You can add healthier options like hemp(vegan) protein, chia seeds, flax seeds and FRESHLY ground peanut butter. The soups are made fresh by the owner and change everyday. The wheat grass is grown fresh, picked fresh and juiced fresh. This is not anything like Jamba Juice. This is HEALTHY for you! The staff is pleasant. The only downside is that they don’t sell salads… But they are still new so I know that is coming in the future! Awesome for gluten free, dairy free and healthy snack options.
