History

Established in 2003.

OnTime Express Delivery was formed in 2003 with a goal to provide the best delivery and messenger service in Salt Lake City. We didn’t want to be just another run-​of-​the-​mill type of delivery carrier.

Instead, we wanted to be the type of company that develops strong business relationships based on reputation, communication and reliability, yet provide our customers with excellent service and communication on a more personal level.

In this day and age, excellence in service and communication with a personal touch are the keys to a great business. We understand that when you pickup the phone, you want immediate answers. This is why when you call our office, you will always get a live human being, and not an annoying automated phone system that sends you to voice mail.

We have found that one of the big keys to our success is our drivers. After all, our drivers are an extension of the companies we deliver for. When you have happy drivers, you have happy customers.

Business Owner

Sean started off as a courier in 1997 and really enjoyed delivering packages while creating great relationships with his customers. Having a great, positive, friendly attitude and service with a smile is what the delivery business was all about to Sean. As Sean says, «If you put a positive attitude out, you get a positive attitude back».

The one thing that Sean noticed was that service from the company he was delivering for was very poor and that communication was quite difficult between customers and their office. In fact, it was nearly impossible to get straight answers from anyone and office staff were constantly making promises that they could not fulfill.

Many customers approached Sean and said he would be great if he could start his own business in delivery. Sean always had an Entrepreneur mind set anyway, so he started giving it some serious thought and did some investigating. He decided to put a plan of action in place and teamed up with an investor to form OnTime Express.
