Terrible service. I think the agents are more interested in their commission than helping you find what you really want.
You can find better deals, especially on Disney packages, through Costco Travel. Much less hassle as well.
If you really want to work with a travel agent, go to Columbus Travel. They are much more professional and friendly.

We work hard for our money and we are VERY UPSET and disappointed with the service. We had worked up a travel itinerary – so she’d know where and what we wanted to do. It also had hotel/B&B’s – listed in the areas close to where we wanted to stay. With the exception of the Ashford Castle, she had a reason or an excuse for why her places were better and put us somewhere else every night. She assured us they were close to our own choice. Which on a whole was NOT the case. We have never been to the UK so we were unfamiliar with the area, activities and the festivals going on, etc. during the month of August.
London and Scotland had many problems I could list but there is not enough room.
* Ireland – we requested that we have ALL small boutique hotels and B&B in Ireland and insisted on 2 nights at the Ashford Castle.
o Ms. Johanson put us in a nice hotel in Dublin – not a boutique hotel nor was it a B&B.
o The four B&B that she booked for us – yes we were there at the office, but we didn’t have a map and she kept telling us they were all close – the first night she put is in a middle of nowhere B&B in Kilgarvan, about 20K away from Kenmare. It was NOT within walking distance of the small town so we had to drive. We had requested that we stay close to Cashel or Blarney. We had wanted to leave Dublin and see Cashel and Blarney. Then the next morning drive to Kinsale, then do part of the Kerry Peninsula and then over to Dingle. We barely had time to walk through Blarney Castle before they closed. We didn’t have time to stop for lunch so we grabbed a egg sandwich from the little shop at the castle and didn’t get into Kilgarvan until late. The owner said he’d began to think we wouldn’t be coming. We completely missed going to Kinsale.
o Dingle was the most upsetting of ALL! I don’t know HOW many times we expressed that we needed to be able to WALK to the town. We had picked a B&B with a five-​minute walk NOT a five-​mile walk. When we were at the office, Ms. Johanson told us that ALL the B&B’s in town were over bars – which isn’t true, come to find out. We said we didn’t want to stay above a bar, but we needed it close so we could walk. She said we would be able to. The place she put us was so far out of town and down a narrow one-​car lane that there is no way we could have driven it in the dark nor could we have walked there. The proprietor was very understanding. And the minute we told her that we had planned to do the music pub crawl and walk back she herself said that couldn’t be done. That people who stayed with her were those who didn’t WANT to be in town. She said most B&B’s were usually booked this time of year, but she gave us a few places to try. Luckily, one of them had a cancellation. We were able to stay there and we had to pay. We expect our money back for those two nights.
This also almost spoiled a surprise that had been planned since Christmas. Our friends – since this was my birthday trip – wanted to join us in Dingle for the two nights and surprise me. Ron was panicked because had we not been able to change our B&B we would have not made the time to meet for the surprise and he – his phone didn’t work in the UK, only mine did – had no way to reach them. I’m sure eventually they would have contacted me, but the surprise would have been ruined.
o Our next day we went to the Cliffs of Moher and planned to stay in Doolin. But Ms. Johanson put us in a convention center in a very bad section of Ennis. We wouldn’t even walk away from the hotel. We had to take a taxi to go into the good section of town. Not to mention that it had a Hostel and bedrooms to rent and was packed with bus tours and kids running up and down the hall at all hours of the night. This was NOT a small boutique hotel nor was it a B&B by any stretch of the imagination. Plus Doolin would have been on our way to the next day’s destination, Galway. Instead it was 30K drive in the opposite direction. If she couldn’t have done a B&B in Doolin why not Galway? At least that would have been in the right direction that we were going.
o So as I said the next day was off to Galway and then to the Castle – the one place WE INSISTED on, I had planned to book the reservations ourselves, I had been looking at standard rooms, we didn’t need anything ‘deluxe’ and the cost in August was approx. 300 to 400 euros per night. But Ms. Johanson said she would do it. I requested that we have a room in the old section of the castle. We did not. But when I asked they said it was newly renovated so it probably looked the same. I still would have liked to be where I’d asked though, since Ms. Johansen booked a ‘Deluxe Family room’ at 700 euros per night as a result we paid a total of $ 1464.90. A big difference from what we would have paid if I’d booked it. And ALL the rooms were nice; we would not have been disappointed with a smaller room without TWO queen beds. The castle was a very big expense, but we did thoroughly enjoy it.
