Don’t listen to old Surly Steve“s review, he must not know how to communicate properlyI with his therapists. I have been coming here for a while now and have enjoyed every single one of my massages. If you are a deep tissue lover then look no further, the Fijian massage here is amazing and will help relieve bound muscles in a short amount of time. Lacy and Cat are phenomenal, I won’t settle for a normal massage after having a few of these. Overall the space is clean and inviting, and pricing is affordable.

Been there three times. Haven’t received a great massage yet.

Donna May should be everyone’s first choice for a massage. I suffered from partial frozen shoulder and am convinced that she had everything to do with my quick healing — which takes over a year.
Though very knowledgeable, she is a seeker and is continually learns more about her craft. But the best piece is that she is also a healer.
In my book, that makes her a triple threat and in this day and age we need all the support we can get taking care of our bodies and spirit.

Worst massage ever. Don’t waste your money here. Asked for a deep tissue massage and don’t know what kind of massage he did… definitely not like any massage I’ve ever had. It was mostly pressure points and very little actual massage. They do manicures right outside the massage rooms so there was a woman talking for a good portion of the time. First and last time customer.

I’ve only been here once, but I’d definitely return.
The place is clean, cozy and comfortable.
I received a top-​notch massage.
The prices were very fair.

This evening I got a deep tissue massage from Josh. I have never gotten a massage before so I don’t have anything to base this off of other than my experience this evening. I have been having some pretty severe sciatic pain lately and was desperate for relief. I called on a whim after being referred by a guy who used to work there. I was not expecting to be able to get in so promptly but got an appointment scheduled only 2 hours after calling. The actual service seemed to be really good. Maybe a bit choppy at times but over all it was fantastic. My back still hurts which is to be expected. Josh was very professional and very helpful with tips to help with relief at home. I will most definitely be calling to schedule another appointment soon with Josh.

I have been coming to Heavenly Hands for about 10 years. I have always had exceptional service. The owner Mary Hobbs has taken the time to listen to my needs and connected me with awesome therapists that really know what they are doing. I have never had an issue. I always look forward to my massages. I personally recommend giving them a try. Also I really like when I make my appointment, their system sends me an email. It makes it easier to remember.

Was referred here and it was a waste of money. Thought the prices were to good to be true and I was right. You get what you pay for. Booked hour massage for two people.
His massage therapist talked the whole time which is the WORST when your trying to enjoy a relaxing massage. We then both complained about the actual massage. It wasn’t even a massage. They more did pressure points and didn’t really massage. Then to top it off his massage was cut 15 mins short because she couldn’t read a clock and we still had to pay for it. We have both had a lot of massages and these were by far the worst for both of us. They definitely need some better massage therapists in our opinion.

I am sorry to say that I would not waste any amount of money going to this Spa. Their turnover is horrendous and thus it is hard to get an experienced massage therapist. I thought the prices were good so I booked and paid 49.95 for a massage that was worth 9.95. It was obvious that he was not experienced. I then decided to try a facial. The facial itself was good from Sierra who I would recommend but my daughter booked with Serena who I found so snotty and unprofessional when I told her that my daughter may be a little late as her 2 year old was having a melt down and she was bring dad in to rescue her. That didn’t matter to Serena who in a pretty caustic tone informed me that I would have to pay for half the service as there was a 24 hour cancellation fee. I didn’t mind the fee (although I think it is a crappy way to generate return customers — especially when she had no control over the situation — it’s not as though it was a flat out no show — my daughter was in tears already and didn’t need a treatment with that kind of snotty attitude working on her. I told my daughter not to bother coming as the experience was for sure not to be a kind one. When you pay for a treatment at a spa it should be a pleasant experience. There are plenty in town that are. If you are looking for professionalism, kindness, consideration and any treatment worth your money — I would keep on looking. And yes, I did get an e mail offering me to tell them about my experience which I did. Of course I didn’t get a reply, apology, any attempt to make it right or check further about my experience. Further validation that this place does not have their act together.

I had a pedi and 90 min massage scheduled back to back. I didn’t get out of there for 4 HOURS. That’s beyond ridiculous. The massage was good, at best. The pedicure was bad. Like, really bad. I’d rather go get a 30 minute pedi for $ 25 and sit in a massage chair! Lesson learned.

I’ve been to Heavenly Hands about 6 times and love it! The atmosphere is great and everyone is super professional! I request Cheryl every time and she is the BEST. She is so great at communicating and listening to your needs. I would definitely recommend Heavenly Hands for a great massage experience!

This was the first time I’ve been to Heavenly Hands at the recommendation of a friend. The atmosphere was warm, calm and peaceful, everything you would expect from a massage parlor. The overall experience was fantastic. I’ve had massages before, but I can tell you this massage therapist was leagues ahead of the others. She did a fantastic job! Throughout my 90 minute massage ($ 65), she asked me 3 – 4 times if the pressure was okay, or if she should go deeper or lighter. She did not talk too much, but just the right amount and made sure all my questions about the massage were answered up front. She was very clear and understandable. I really appreciated here attention to detail and the focus she gave to areas of trouble. The therapists name is Dana (works W-​Su), I would recommend her and this establishment to anyone.

Massage and facial for my girlfriend were great. Communication to book the appointment, and subsequently payment afterwords were horrendous.
We are not generally spa-​goers (we do go in for massages occasionally), but I wanted to book something special for my girlfriend after a month of work travel. I called and requested a massage appointment (Swedish) as well as a facial afterwards. In my exact words for the facial, because I was booking over the phone without their website in front of me «I don’t know what it’s called, but whatever the cheapest facial is.» I would assume that whoever was creating the appointment would be familiar with their own pricing structure and thus schedule me for the cheapest facial (which is $ 25).
Anyways, booked, fast forward to day of appointment, after massage and facial… The woman helping us with payment says it will be $ 45 for the massage (which was the expected price) and $ 65 for the facial. We argued back and forth about it for a while. Really? You’re going to tell me I miscommunicated on the phone. I don’t think «cheapest» can be miscommunicated in any way. Apparently I «should have known which facial I booked because the European is 1hr long and the cheapest facial ‘refresher’ is only 20mins». Hm, I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with facials and their durations… Additionally, the website does not list the durations of the various facials, so please remind me… How exactly should I have known? Anyways, to wrap up, the person checking me out refused to budge but offered me whatever groupon they had out for the facial (still $ 25 more than I was expecting to pay).
What should have been a relaxing and refreshing experience for my girlfriend turned into a completely stressful and tense day. What a fantastic way to earn your business repeat clientele as well as word-​of-​mouth recommendations.

I started this review a few years ago like this: I started going to Cat to have deep tissue massages in order to address kinks and knots in my shoulders and legs. I think the prices are quite reasonable. The prices are so reasonable I end up scheduling a facial at the same time.
Here is my update: I went several times, the first time they put me in a lovely room that had great ambiance. Then I started getting put in a room that was always cold — to the point of needing to ask for a blanket, and really not aesthetically appealing unless you are a HUGE fan of angel ornaments. I wondered if I was put there because I wasn’t using as many of their services. I tested that suspicion and had to reject it rapidly as they put me in the same frickin’ too cold room no matter how many extras I paid for. So, I quit going there a long time ago. Too bad, I liked the massages and facials. My advice, if you have a return customer treat them like the royalty they are, just saying.

I purchased a Groupon to try this business. It is close to my home and I am a runner, so I get massages frequently. The Groupon CLEARLY states not valid on Thursday or Sunday. I tried to make my appointment on a Saturday — within the requirements of the Groupon — and they would not honor it. The girl at the front desk even agreed with me, that it is false advertising on the part of the business, but that her manager would not accept the appointment. She advised me to get my money back from Groupon. Shady business! I’ll go elsewhere.

This place was great! Great customer service, welcoming environment and Stephanie gave me the best massage I have ever had! The Sunday 2 hour special is the way to go! I will definitely be back!

Very professional and skilled staff that provide great, personalized, massages and services. If it’s of interest, they can really get deep and release the knots.

I have seen several therapists at this spa. They are all amazing. Recently I saw Earl and had the best massage of my life. We have been working on some of my trouble spots for a year and I have really made so much progress. This last massage was almost a workout and so helpful in my goals with my body. If you are active athletic or just need to fix something these people are absolutely the best. Big thank you to Mary for doing this work and training her people so well. Thank you!!!

I was looking for a nice place to spend my anniversary with my wife. This place turned out great! I found the spa on Groupon. I called them with some questions before booking and they offered to honored the rate without having to buy the Groupon. The staff was very friendly and courteous and made every accommodation possible for my pregnant wife. The environment was very relaxing and the quality of the massage was exactly what I was looking for. One of the best massages I’ve ever had, especially for the cost!
I am not a frequent purchaser of massages or a connoisseur by any means. I usually went to Massage Envy, mainly because they are affordable compared to most places. Heavenly Hands was infinitely more enjoyable and equally affordable. Definitely recommend this place and will be returning in the future.

This review is mainly for the facility and the newer massage therapist Hollie, LMT.
Let me start by saying I’ve been to a more beautiful and relaxing facility, so I’d give that 4-​stars, but Hollie gets 5, so 4.5 rounds up to 5.
As a former gymnast and dancer, now choreographer and daily weight-​lifter, I’ve got some muscle problems to say the least. Sometimes certain muscles and nerves pinch so bad I can hardly use them — especially my hip area.
Two years ago, my then boyfriend purchased me my first ever massage for my birthday. I was in heaven — she was amazing. I’d never had a massage therapist before and had no clue how joyful a great massage could be because I truly thought a lot of this type of work was «snake oil» so-​to-​speak.
Last year, the man who had been my boyfriend and is now my husband purchased me another massage the day before I quit my job as a celebration. I was super displeased with the therapist I had then and did not return. He was someone who specialized in stretching-​type massages, which I could tell he was good at, but that wasn’t what I needed, I needed deep and I said at least three times during the session, «You can go a little deeper.» I like very deep massages that are almost painful because I can feel the difference in my tight muscles releasing.
A couple of months ago, Heavenly Hands sent out a promo for their new therapist, Hollie for $ 35 for a 60-​minute massage. My husband booked one for me, even though I was hesitant because I’d hated my last massage so much.
When I arrived, Hollie was standing there waiting for me with a glass of water and consulted with me about what type of work I felt I needed, asking all the right questions about pressure, trigger points, etc. That left me feeling confident. She did a full-​body massage that relaxed me and helped me enough that I booked another massage before I left.
This is where it gets good. I had been having right-​shoulder pinching and pain in my hips so bad, that I walked like an old lady the first hour each day. I explained all of this to Hollie on my next session and what I’d done to cause this trauma. I did not even have to point to where the pain was, she just touched my muscle and knew exactly where it was. She did a very deep — VERY deep– massage, I’m not sure what that type is called, all I know is that I walked out of there feeling my muscles had truly let go for the first time in months. The shoulder relief wasn’t immediate, but over the next few days, the pinching became less and less and finally let go about a week later. The few mornings after the massage, I woke up and hopped out of bed good-​as-​new. I couldn’t believe it. In fact, I wouldn’t believe it unless it had happened to me.
For my third massage, we worked my psoas, which I had never ever had even touched before. Wowee! I was certainly tender the next day, but between the work and the stretches, my body again felt rejuvenated.
Hollie always gives me tips on stretching, hydrating, icing, etc.
The point is, I can’t vouch for any other therapist there. I can’t say that Hollie’s technique is what you personally need — just like everyone has a different body-​type, everyone has massage methods that are best for them. I can very, very confidently say that Hollie has changed my life the past month and I would recommend her to anyone!
