Description

Specialties

GuitarSighted Instruction specializes in helping guitarists ready to come out of retirement … return with a vengeance!

The guitar is unique in that it takes a prominent role in every major style of music: jazz, blues, rock, pop, worship, country, metal, classical and now even Broadway!

Becoming a master of one specific stylistic niche is NOT a luxury afforded to the modern guitarist.

To be taken seriously as a guitarist, proficiency (if nothing else familiarity) in EVERY genre and style of music is an absolute necessity!

Meaning the GuitarSighted Instruction Program is dedicated towards building a solid foundation in the fundamental skills common to the major styles of music:

Seamed together through the power of REPERTOIRE (the songs you know)

Structured by the GOALS of each individual student

GuitarSighted Instruction Delivers RESULTS!

Meet the Business Owner

Alex F.

Business Owner

I’m Alex Flores, Part-Time Nerd and Full-Time Guitar Instructor! I am not a rockstar, but I am a professional Guitar Teacher.

In my 10+ years working full-time in music education I’ve Directed Concert Bands, Jazz Ensembles, Pep Bands, and Worship Teams.

I’ve played for Festivals, Fairs, Parades, Battle of the Bands, Musicals, Church, Band Bonanza Bashes, Pep Rallies, Recitals and Fundraisers.

I’ve taught drums, bass, flute, clarinet, percussion, saxophone, brass (trumpet, trombone, etc.) but none of it meant anything if I couldn’t teach guitar!

I’m not just saying that. It sounds crazy but I have walked away from GOOD JOBS — where my presence was highly valued and appreciated — all because each of these jobs had one thing in common: They came between me and my guitar

It took me a long time to realize it, but teaching guitar is and has always been my true calling in life.
