DO NOT COME HERE! They do not care for you or your pet. There is more of a chance they will mess up rather than not. Extremely uneducated on dogs and what to do and what NOT to do. Please for the sake of your pet do! NOT! come here.

Our yorkie came back with cuts and rashes and was shaking for days. She was always screaming and whining when we picked her up. Also had a friend who’s husky got completely shaved, which is absolutely shocking to me considering the first thing that comes up when you google «shave husky» is PSA DO NOT SHAVE YOUR HUSKY
Although we never found a groomer we were too satisfied with, this place was the worst. Take care of your doggies!

I took my dog in to be groomed. I arrived an hour after they called. When I picked him up he ran out the door so fast because he had to pee, which is not normal, as he is used to being inside, and can hold it for for a couple hours. When I arrived home, he Unilocaled when I pet him. I found 3 trimmer cuts on him. Definitely not worth the price.

Today my mom took my sweet Kira into this place we have gone before to groom our 3 dogs. My dog, as pictured below, is a Siberian/​Klee Kai husky mix. Beautiful long gorgeous fluffy hair only huskies would dream of having. But I noticed she was shedding a lot and chunk of her hair were coming out so I decided that she needed to get brushed out like you do with EVERY husky. So she was on the books for just a wash and a brush. THATS IT. And I come home to her SHAVED AND CUT. ALL OF HER HAIR IS GONE and she cannot stop whimpering and hiding underneath everything. THE OWNER DENICE WHO GROOMS THERE DID THIS TO MY BABY. EVERY DAMN GROOMER knows that you DO NOT shave/​cut/​clip ANY HUSKIES hair unless it is a medical emergency! I am APPALLED AND DISGUSTEDLY, so naturally I call the shop and start asking who cut her hair and WHY IN THE HELL did that groomer cut off all of her hair KNOWINGLY that she is a husky and KNOWING you DO NOT do that and the girl at the front desk was so uneducated in her job she had no idea what to even say and put me on hold for 5 minutes and hung up. Wow. Professional. Mature. So I call back AGAIN asking to speak to whoever did this to my girl and she says that she will be back in 30 minutes and that she will give me a call. Okay I wait 30 minutes, nothing, an hour, nothing. I call back FURIOUS asking for Denice and she says that she has gone home??? I’m like sooooo this lady is this owner, doesn’t know her ass from her elbow, doesn’t care about her customers, and when a complaint comes in she goes home. Wow. Real professional and so caring. So now I’m double as furious and start telling her to give me the owners number or call her and tell her to come back to the shop and deal with her own problems like an adult. Oh I’m 20 by the way. The owners are like in their 50’s. Keep in mind. AND SHE WON’T COME BACK. Seriously??? Do you care about your business??? Ever heard of customer service??? Idk??? So then this guy gets on the phone, he calls himself the manager, and I’m like CAN I PLEASE JUST TALK TO DENICE, the woman who did this to my husky, I really don’t understand why this is so hard. I mean if I was a business owner I would already be on my way back to the shop on my cell phone contacting the customer. But not for these guys. And so I literally just go off on how unprofessional they are and how they put my dog at risk for shaving her down to JUST HER UNDERCOAT and if they don’t know not to cut or shave any husky I wonder what they don’t know about other breeds and how they can make a mistake like that. And he asks if I can bring my dog in so he can take a look. And I say okay since I’m already over there. So I bring her in and immediately the «manager» can tell they have done something wrong. So I’m talking loudly, definitely not yelling, I’m OBVIOUSLY very pissed off and very unhappy. And I restate what I have been saying over and over again to people on the phone, how does this groomer have a job here? It is number one rule NOT to shave or clip a husky and you can 100% tell that my dog, is a husky! And he tries to fight back with me saying that the woman who dropped her off (my mom) asked for a groom and a summer cut. Even IF my mom had asked for summer cut, DENICE, «the all knowing groomer/​owner», should have INFORMED my mother that you DO NOT shave a husky unless of medical emergency. WHICH SHE DID NOT DO. And went ahead and did her thing. I dropped my dog off this morning just expecting to come home to her fluffy, clean, and brushed out. And instead I came home to a completely different acting/​looking dog. Who is put in danger because of the uneducated, uninformed, and knowledgeable «groomer». The «manager» who I was talking to then asked what I wanted him to do, and I said, «I want a FULL refund and I want the woman who PERSONALLY did this to come down here and gave me and apologize and explain her reasoning for this!!». And do you want to know what he said? He said, «you really want me to call her and have her come all the way from 3800 west for this?» FOR THIS? Excuse me??? Do they have dogs? Do they understand that dogs ARE FAMILY. And if this was MY HUMAN CHILD I would have raised a whole new hell. BUT MY DOG IS MY CHILD. And the fact that would handle this situation SO HORRIBLE is beyond me. The fact that you don’t understand that I put MY BABY in the hands of YOUR CARE and you completely 100% broke that trust and put MY DOG in harms way. I will tell everyone and anyone that I meet or come across to NEVER WASTE their time and money here. And that the wellbeing of OUR FUR BABIES are not in their first priority and THE CUSTOMERS are not either. So after he asked if I wanted his wife/​owner to come ALL THE WAY DOWN from so far away. I began to refuse anything from them and that they will be hearing from a police officer and my lawyer, and all he had to say was, «I’m not going to do anything and you can get out of my shop». KEEP ALL FUR BABIES AWAY FROM HERE!

I have taken my dog here for services since they opened. Love these guys & Lola loves them too! They do such a great job. I recommend calling at least a week in advance to make an appointment. Easy drop off /​pick up. Very accommodating and not intimidated by large breed dogs. I have a 70lbs black German Shepard, who is VERY active and a very «vocal» client, Fur R We handles her without any problems. My dog loves coming here and I love how she prances around for days showing off how cute she looks. Thanks Fur R We.

Follow up from my last post: I didn’t mention that I was PROMISED a call back from the owner, and I still have not received a call. The only guy that works there, I’m not sure what his name is, but I have talked to him before regarding this, he said he was the owner, he apologized the first time, the 2^nd time he promised it would never happen again and gave me two dogs for the price of one, now he hasn’t even called nor has anyone else. But looking at the bad reviews on other websites, he always manages to make a snarky comment and somehow blame the customer for the terrible haircut their pet received. My complaint is so similar to most bad reviewers’, it’s insane to me that he would blame customers for so many bad reviews regarding the actual grooming and customer service they are providing.

I took my elderly golden retriever here and had a terrible experience. When we went inside he was shaking uncontrollably (he got scared of car rides in his old age). I let the woman know that his hind legs were very weak and asked her to be gentle with him. She took the leash from me, and started to walk away, when my 14 year old dog slipped and fell on the tile. Instead of stopping or helping him up, she just continued to drag him by the neck into the back room. I was shocked at how cold and inhumane they treated my obviously terrified dog.

Sad to say they have really gone down hill. My parents labradoodle was hacked again. They ruined his tail and he looks like they took 20 mins to just cut him the same all over. His ears are too full. Will be finding another groomer. We have been loyal customers for over 20 years… Find another groomer Fur R We is too expensive for the work performed.

Worst haircut ever and way over priced!!! My toy poodle looks like a pin-​head. I asked to just trim his ears and beard a little bit because I like him to look like a teddy bear and Denise (his groomer) shaved his head so he looks like a pin-​head!!! Sooo disappointed!

Fur R We does a great job with my dog, he always looks darling when I pick him up! My only complaint is that it is really hard to get in touch with them. The phone is constantly busy or it goes to voicemail. With my work schedule, it’s hard for me to be available to pick up when they call me back. I’d just like to be able to call in and make an appointment without such a hassle.

Fur R We is such an awesome groomer. My poor little yorkie had such a bad experience at a different groomer and I walked in and they took care of him right away. He was such a happy puppy when I picked him up!!! They took their time to do a fantastic job!!! I will definitely be returning.

I have been taking my miniature schnauzer to the Fur R We for 6 years. They always do a great job with the cut and more importantly my cute little schnauzie comes back home happy! I have referred Fur R We to everyone in my family and I highly recommend them to everyone looking for a kind and safe place to take their pet for a grooming :)

This Place used to be AMAZING! I am not sure if it is under new ownership or not — but the standards has fallen drastically!
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that i take to the groomers at least every 2 months. They are usually always friendly and ask extra details about my dogs and what i liked and did not like from the previous cut. For the past 6 months or so they have not done this and my pets cut has not been the best. I ask for them to cut & clean around the ears and a sanitary cut, trimming of the feet and my dog looks like she just got a bath and that was it.
My Cocker’s face looks awful with the blade marks still showing up and not looking nice and smooth! Every time I call the phone rings and rings then goes to voicemail. The price of the cut is expenisve and I did not mind it because the groomer was Amazing — but lately they leave much to be desired — i will not be returning to this location.

This place is fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great groomer.
My wife and I popped in here looking to trim our dogs paws before we went hiking in the snow together.
They took us in without reservation, did a fantastic job, we were in and out in under 10 minutes even though they were really busy. All of this coat us $ 10, so we left a $ 20 tip. Highly recommend

I’ve had my dog groomed here 2 times now, and they always do a fantastic job. The lady came out and explained to me his more sensitive spots, which is great to know for future grooming appointments! My dog seemed happy and that is important.
The negative sides of this place are that half of the times I call, it goes directly to an answering machine or just continues to ring, even during some business hours. Usually, if I wait a while and try again it works, but sometimes it takes several tries. If my dog didn’t need his hair cut desperately, I would have forgotten to call again! When you finally get someone on the phone, scheduling is easy and they are nice. Another negative is the pricing, after the tip, it comes to $ 60 for my 23lbs dog. I’ve never paid that much for him before, most places charge about $ 10 less. This is more than I pay for highlights, wash and cut on myself! I live so close to the location, which is why I’ve gone twice, but I may try to find a cheaper spot. I hate to go somewhere else because they do a good job, but it is a bit unreasonable. Great spot if you don’t mind paying a bit more.
