The staff here is good. They remember you. The food is great. Drinks are not expensive. Good times in a Lil dive bar.

So you get to slc at 4 pm on a Wednesday but you’re waiting for people who are flying in at 8 – 9. You get on the light rail and start looking for bars. Everything seems too trendy and then you see Devils daughter. You get off the train and haul your huge snowboard bag through a semi beaten industrial area thinking: this is Utah, there can’t be any chance someone will try to jack me. You arrive and its 50 cent wings with 3 homemade bbq sauces, cheap beer and very friendly people. Would highly recommend if you’re near the airport and have a couple hours to burn

I went on Taco Tuesday, when tacos are $ 1.50 each. It was nearly empty when we got there a little after 6, and they were already out of pork tacos. So I ordered the chicken tacos, which were absolutely delicious! The place is spacious and the beer is cheap, which is always great. Service was a bit slow, but not so much that I wouldn’t return. In fact, I’m sure I will. The tacos are great.

Not happy at all. Food was good, drinks were good as well. But when It came to the service it was horrible!!! I gave the waitress $ 25, because she said the bill was 19 and change. Well she never came back with my change!!! And then she avoided our table the rest of the night! So we ain’t coming back here again!!! So watch out for the waitress whose name starts with an A!!!

Devil’s Daughter is a little divey and not the cleanest place around. The fooseball handles were sticky, but it’s free so that’s definitely a plus. Just make sure you wash your hands before digging in to their signature smoked wings. Go on a Wednesday, and they’re only 50 cents a piece. The order came with an assortment of sauces, that were all kind of similar in taste IMO. All were savory, sweet and smokey barbecue flavors that made me wish for something with a kick of heat. The wings themselves were good, but I’ll pass on the sauces next time. If my visit wasn’t on a weekday, I might have partaken in karaōke after a couple more $ 5 shot and beer specials. Oh well, there’s always next time.

Monday night is geeks who drink, they have other events through out the week. Chandra is the friendliest bartender in slc and will take care of you.

I’ve frequented the DD for years now. It is my favorite bar in SLC! After having their smoked chicken wings, I don’t think I will ever eat wings cooked another way again.
The ambiance is also great. With a free juke box and free games like shuffleboard and billiards, I can easily spend my entire night there!
If you’re not in the mood for wings, get the tacos or ribs. Oh, and be sure to add on a plate of cheese fries with every meal!

They were out of wings and ribs so we decided to try Sugar House bbq instead and try back on the dollar rib Mondays.

A group of friends and I went to grab some wings on Wednesday for their $ 0.50 wings. There were around 10 of us, so we ordered 80 wings. We were promptly informed by the cocktail waitress that they only had 100 wings left for the whole night (Mind you, we got there at 7… still pretty early in the night and the only people that were there when we showed up were part of our group.) We had a few more people show up and ended up ordering the full 100. The waitress seemed incredibly put out. I get that ordering 100 wings is a pain, but we had a big enough group that it shouldn’t have come as a surprise. I was talking to a friend about leaving and going elsewhere and our cocktail said, «Oh, you’re leaving us??» Again, not sure why she was surprised. If you’re going to promote a special, it might be a good idea to not run out before the night even starts. Just a thought!

This place has fantastic burgers, fries, and BBQ sauces. We went with a groupon, so the price was great. Even without a groupon though you’re still looking at a fair value. I had the Garlic Bacon Cheeseburger and was really impressed. The portion was decent and the fries that we had with it were great. They had 3 or 4 different types of BBQ sauce, all of which were full of flavor.
The atmosphere is that of a normal bar. We went in around noon on a Saturday, so it was pretty quiet. The service was quick and there are TV’s with various sports on. Overall it was a great experience, we will be going back to try some more things!

Tuesday night Hell Jam was how we discovered this place. House band is welcoming and talented. Service has been up and down over several months, and we were disappointed when the cocktail prices increased, since this isn’t a luxurious setting. But hey, their food specials are great – smoked chicken or pork tacos at $ 1.50 can’t be beat.

Devil’s Daughter has become my post movie wind down spot. Catch an evening showing of the newest YA book turned movie and then bitch about all the things they got wrong while inhaling a ginormous (and I do mean epically huge) plate of nachos. The nachos come piled high with your choice of pulled pork or chicken (I’ve gotten both and while pork is my favorite the chicken is also delicious), cheese, beans and cilantro. On the side they give you black olives, jalapenos, sour cream, salsa and guacamole. I will say the sides are not enough for the size of the nachos but then again we’ve never finished the entire plate of nachos so I guess it doesn’t matter too much.
This last time we went I had the wings. Smoked not fried. They are freaking delicious! They come unsauced and there are 4 – 5 bottles to choose from on the table. I recommend the Memphis it’s smoky and spicy with just a hint of sweet. Wednesdays they’re just 33 cents per wing.
The drinks are well priced and they have a full bar. Each night of the week they have a different activity. Last time I went was Sunday and they had poker night. The time before that was karaōke night (not my favorite… but quite amusing). The music they play is all over the place. Screaming metal bands to soft country to bumping hip hop.
The service is a little slow but the waitresses are always very nice and helpful. I really want to go back and try some of the specials like Sunday brunch. Don’t try to come here after church with the family though, like Lucky 13 and other great brunch places it’s a bar and therefore no children.

I really wanted to love this place. It had a «bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks» feel, but the pulled pork was overly salty and my simple mixed drink had no carbonation. My husband really liked his ribs and the Killians on tap.
