Davinci Virtual

I have nothing but good things to say about Davinci. I consider them a trusted business partner. We have worked with Davinci almost since their inception, and the experience has been uniformly positive. Their team is knowledgeable, professional, and unceasingly courteous. They deserve a five star rating, which I do not give very often at all.

I used Davinchi in California for mail services only. I made a mistake choosing Davinchi… from the very first day. I was quoted one price (literally, on paper) and charged another $ 75 set up fee… I should have quit them then. but no, I paid and preceded. The online notary was a hassle and an invasion of privacy. My mail never got forwarded. — so I never benefited from the service at all. I paid for three months never really ended up even going to the location. They charged me $ 30 for holding a package overnight that had been picked up the same day, it took two weeks to get that resolved. When I finally revoked their access to my debit card and basically forgot about them they discarded any mail I had received and demanded payment… Nagged me endlessly to sign back up at an inflated rate, then when I wouldn’t– hired a collection agency… for a PO box… lol. run, don’t walk… worst most parasitic entity ever. Bad experience start to finish.

Please don’t even try to sign up with them. They just want your money that’s it!!!

Setup nightmare
When we started the process, we told them that we wanted to import our own telephone number. They informed us that would not be a problem so we proceeded to signing up. They informed us we have a couple of forms that they will send that we must complete to get started. We completed the forms as requested and they continue to send us more forms and just when we thought we were done there were still some more forms to be completed. The fact that they sent it piece by piece took over 3 weeks in which we didn’t have access to an address and receptionist service that we paid for, and still they have not imported the number and they still needed us to fill out more forms. Once they had everything which was approximately three weeks after we started the process they informed us it will take 4 to 6 weeks to import the number and in the meantime we are paying for reception service which we cannot use. First, all forms should have been provided when we signed up for service instead of every 3 to 4 days over a month. Second, the payment and services should start when the paperwork is completed so as not to punish the customers and DaVinci would be motivated to be diligent in providing and processing paperwork timely. Third, we should be given the 6 weeks it took them to get everything working added to our contract term for free as that was DaVincis failure not ours. If you are a potential customer, insist on not paying for the service until you see and complete the paperwork. DaVinci is very disorganized and we are disappointed.

I signed up for an office and everything was great. I even set foot in it once. But the deal fell through and I wanted to cancel. Suddenly, after absolutely stunning customer service, once I wanted to cancel, everything went downhill fast. Davinci could no longer receive emails from me. They couldn’t be reached by phone. They never received my written notice of cancellation which I sent to the lady on the phone while I was talking to her. By some sheer coincidence, I had set up the account with a soon to expire credit card. They kept running up the bill, and sending notices that charges were declined. They wanted me to pay up– keep paying– because they claimed they never received an email from me. So I forwarded the original cancellation email which they again claimed they never received. Then I sent another and another and another to four email addresses at Davinci — from both my Yahoo and Gmail accounts — «Sorry. We don’t have a record of any emails from you.» When I refused to pay, they demanded the money they claimed I owed them and when I refused, they immediately sent the «account» to collections. I’m in the process of suing them to have my credit report expunged. Good luck to you if you let these people get their hands on you.

Beware – do not lock in a number with this company. They have no regard for long term loyal customers, they will raise your rate whenever they need to boost their bottom line. They charge $ 250 to port your number away from them, which should be illegal (similar services charge $ 0 as long as you’re with them for a few months). RUN from this company and you will save a lot of time and money.

Fellow Californians — run from this service provider. Although they are very «pleasant» on the telephone & have great salespersons, when it comes to routine performance they just can’t do it. Their technology seems incompatible with VOIP callers, they take no responsibility for the problems they cause in your workday and your lost callers, almost every task they are assigned fails. All they are is a middle man between you and the local office you are attempting to work with. If you criticize their performance, they become officious and threatening. You can find the similar services directly from Servcorp, PacificWorkplaces and Regus. You’ll be much happier working directly with a local center manager, imho.

Everything was fine, until I received an e-​mail stating they were going to move my office across town in less than 3 weeks.
Not only are they moving me across town to a bad area for the same price.
They chose to send the e-​mail on April, 8, 2015 as we approach tax day.
I asked if I could stay in the same area for the same price because there is another office nearby. They said no and did not offer any alternatives to the one they gave me.
Just thought I would give a warning to future potential customers.

I don’t know where the bad reviews are coming from, but I guess we all have different experiences. My experience with Davinci has been nothing short of great. I signed up with them in 2008 when I decided it would be cheaper to use them instead of my personal assistant to answer calls. I never had a customer complain about the services, and they made my small business sound bigger than we are. All I needed from them was a professional sounding attendant to answer the phone and transfer the call to me. As for the complaints of the attendants interrogating customers, you may want to tell them to simply transfer any and all calls to you. Personally I preferred the screening because on many occasions the attendant notified me of what sounded like a sales call.
For the 7 years I’ve been with them, I haven’t had to deal with customer service much, but when I did, it was always a pleasant experience.
At this time I am no longer using Davinci, but it’s not because I didn’t like their services. I just don’t have the need for them right now, but I will be using their office day rentals in the very near future. I would definitely recommend Davinci, and I would tell anyone considering whether or not to use them to look at the prices. If it looks like something you feel comfortable committing to, then go for it. Just get all of your expectations listed and make sure they understand what you want.

I’ve had absolutely NOTHING but trouble ever since I entrusted Davinci with my business phones in March. Calls routinely go unanswered, operators interrogate callers even though they are merely supposed to answer the calls and patch them through to me. I get every excuse in the book (after they missed 3 calls in a row today, the excuse was «we are having staffing problems»). Selecting DaVinci as my virtual receptionist was the single biggest mistake I’ve made since starting my company 14 years ago.

Davinci Virtual provides fantastic service. I use their Live Receptionist Services for my design company and my clients appreciate the friendly knowledgeable person that answers every time. It’s so much better than when I was trying to field the calls myself. I have also recently added a Virtual Address from Davinci and love the professionalism it provides to my small company. I have been impressed with their meeting room services when I need to have a face-​to-​face with a client. I would recommend this company to any sbo looking to impress their customers!

I signed up with this company because they really seemed to have a good product. I just hope that the service they provide is much better than getting set up.
The sales person gave lots of false information to get me to sign up. Now i am trying to work around the issues to make it work.
They said it would take 2 days to get me set up. Here we are on day 5 and still not set up. What is worse is that they are very slow in getting back to you for support.
Really hoping they get their act together, because if they can do what they say, it will be a good service…

This company is terrible. They offer answering services for small businesses and I contracted with them to answer and forward calls that asked for my customer service to my support team. Sounds simple? Not for them. They constantly interviewed my customers and tried to screen the calls for some reason. The thing that finally made my leave this company was when a customer called them and asked for customer service and they transferred the customer to their own customer service department. Makes one think they get several complaints and are use to doing just that. They tried to charge me $ 250 for porting my toll free number our to another service when they quoted me $ 75 to do that when I signed up. I had to fight them for weeks to get this changed. Stay away from these pretentious people.
