Meet the Business Owner
Johnny A.
Business Owner
Johnny started doing tree work in high school back in 1998 with his neighbor, a Certified Arborist at the time. During this time Johnny learned about the tree care industry from the perspective of an ethical professional. This impression has stamped Johnny with a sense of business integrity that will last for decades to come. After working under this talented Arborist for six years, Johnny decided to start his own company. At that time he was also in college studying English at the University of Utah. This proved to be very difficult; trying to grow a new business, and attending 15 credit hours at the U. After graduation however, the business thrived, as Johnny was able to focus all of his energy on Atlas. As an active member of the tree care industry, he served on the board of the Utah Community Forest Council from 2009 – 2012. He was voted «Best Arborist» by City Weekly in 2009. And he has also placed in the top 10, four out of four Tree climbing competitions here in Utah.
