Boba teas are good here, crepes even better, I have yet to try their soups, but I did finally have their spicy chicken gizzard today. and it was god awful. I usually love authentic Chinese food, but this dish tasted like cold, peppery, briny tire rubber. It was so hard and rubbery I couldn’t chew it enough to swallow. I didn’t like the texture, the flavor, the jaw workout. I couldn’t eat much of it. Hey, they can’t all be winners. Stick with the bobas and crepes here, unless you’re used to this kind of food. Service isn’t attentive or friendly here. If no one is up front, which is often, yell a ‘hello’ and they’ll come.

K for real, best MANGOBOBAMILKTEA in Utah. I get it all the time. I will have to try some of their actual food, but I can vouch for the boba!

This is a hidden gem that you won’t know exist if you never explore the mall or have someone inform you of it. The boba tea here is really good. I’ve always gotten bone from here esp before a movie and just enjoy boba tea during the movie. I recently tried their noodle soup here and it was alright. The beef was tender enough and the soup very flavorful. They also added spice to it so if you don’t like spicy then this noodle soup is probably not for you. One problem with this is that the food does take a while to come out. I think I waited like 20 mins for it. The boba milk tea is very good though. That is something that is prepared really quick. The boba taste fresh. Have the best chewy consistency. The milk tea is super good. Not so sweet but just sweet enough for the boba to compliment. I do like this place and it’s very convenient for me to eat here and drink boba when going to the movies. I would totally recommend anyone to stop by to grab a drink.

I don’t know what other people are thinking, this place sucks. those who gives high reviews must have never had decent bubble tea. the problem is, they use powder rather than real milk tea, and it’s too sweet. and you cannot taste flavor of milk tea but only the flavor u ordered.

I’ve seen this place inside Valley Fair Mail for awhile and never had the chance to visit, until recently when my employer moved into the area. Their menu or pictures on Unilocal are not what their current menu is. I didn’t get a chance to take a pic of their menu on the television screen. I got the Japanese wheat udon noodles with beef in spicy flavor and I was pleasantly surprised on how flavorful and actually spicy it was! Udon noodles are the thicker, white noodles. They served it in a paper bowl that reminded me of a cup holder you would get through fast food and it does not seem you would be able to take the noodle soups to-go if you are on a lunch break. Since it was close enough to my work, we stayed and ate at the little tables available right in front. The location is near the main entrance right by the Miss Cavanaugh’s Chocolate kiosk. you can also go through the Megaplex entrance and go straight through. My friend tried the hot and spicy beef noodles and she enjoyed hers as well. Her noodles also were clear and thin. We definitely enjoyed the different, authentic flavor of the broths. The Honey Roasted peanuts atop our noodles was a nice touch! My friend got the taro boba smoothie and she said it was good. I will definitely be back when I am in the mood for some soup besides phở! Also, our noodles were a little over $ 6 so moderately priced. 4 stars because of the flimsy bowls that the soup was served in and no option to take it to-go. Also, I called ahead to see if they can take my order ahead of time to be ready for pick-up and they did not seem prepared at 10AM even though that is listed as opening hours.

Been here a few times now. Best place in the mall to get away from fried food. The udon is delicious. All sorts of good stuff here. Great seaweed salad.

I was craving some shaved snow and this place came up in a Unilocal email. I was in the neighborhood and decided to hunt it down. It was tricky to find since I wasn’t familiar with the mall. It is not in the food court. Unfortunately the shaved snow didn’t meet my expectations or cravings. I liked how they put boba in it. That was the yummiest parts. I wanted a variety of fruit but they only had banana(which was under ripe) and oranges. Overall I was really disappointed and left craving shaved snow. I will probably go to myung ga to satisfy my craving

I love this place so much. The food here just like what we have in south china. It’s really authentic. The best dishes for me are the spicy gizzard and the spicy clear noodle or rice noodle with intestine. The owner is pleasant. I will be back again.

Located in Valley fair mall @ the front — a very delicious place to stop by! I absolutely love Asian Apps+ very kind people and they even remember me :) it’s been awhile but I stop in every chance I get just to have their seafood udon noodle soup! It’s so delicious. They have everything you’re looking for. From soup, sweets, boba and even crepes. I’ll always come back. 5⁄5 for sure!

I admit I was skeptical about this little place when I found this on Unilocal.I mean it’s located inside a mall, how good could that be. If you haven’t been to the area before like me, the place could be a bit confusing and the traffic could be frustrating, especially when you are trying to turn into the plaza’s entrance. I’m impressed by the number of people waiting in front of this little shop. I thought the service would be fast, because normally it is, for a place like this. Unfortunately, I was wrong, very wrong. I waited for over 40 min for my food. Though the food was not bad, it’s not good enough for a 40 min wait. Beef Udon– Saw a pic on Unilocal and decided to order this. The soup in the pic looks mild and clear, but the one I got was extra spicy. Why? Could someone explain this to me? Anyway, I normally don’t eat spicy food, but I killed this one. It wasn’t really spicy at first, but it got spicier and spicier. At last, my eyes were watery and my stomach felt like burning, and I didn’t even drink the soup. And the beef was a bit over-cooked. Beef Reman– It’s not spicy compare to the udon, but it’s more salty. The beef was also overcooked. Boba Milk Tea– Average. However, I appreciate that it wasn’t those that makes me feel like I’m drinking syrup. Mango Smoothie– Not really tasted like mango, but it’s the drink to wash away the hotness. Overall, for a person like me that don’t/ can’t eat spicy food and could finish the whole bowl, that means this place is really something. However, I recommend you to come on weekdays. Never come in weekends or its peak hours!

The drinks are great. I have to say though the service is good. Although, one time I went there the worker gave me an extra small cup filled with the left over smoothie that was made from the one I ordered. I was grateful for this but … Another worker came over to ring me up, and she complained in Chinese telling the worker«why’d you give her extra ?» And also said that I was young and there was no need to give me extra. I’m quite offended by her service.

First of all, food is great, taste wise. However, service is really bad. Perhaps serving customers is not in their mind. I had an awful experience when I had to wait for 10+ minutes being the only customer at the moment. Turned out they forgot to fill the order. I was like«really?» I was the ONLY one and the girl(perhaps owner) was chatting on her phone. How can they keep up a business like this? I will never go there again.

I’m a carnivore and anyone who reads my reviews knows that I always order meat but here they have spicy tofu… And WOW. If I had to be vegan this would be my Togo spot just bc of the tofu and green onion pancake. I’m not a fan of tofu but the spices and flavors here are well combined and eclectic and I wouldn’t mind eating it everyday. Their boba options are vast and my faves are the mango and lychee if you like sweet. If you aren’t a fan of SWEET boba then go with taro or red bean. If you aren’t familiar with these boba flavors, go with something more common like strawberry boba bc you can never go wrong with that. The staff here are very friendly and I’m glad that this establishment is in the valley fair mall. I will be back.

A student of mine told me about this little shop of Sichuan food. I was skeptical at first. A food stand in a Mall?! Well, you will be pleasantly surprised like I did. Fresh, authentic, clean, and reasonably priced. You should not miss this place if you enjoy this popular Sichuan street food«Spicy and Sour sweet potato noodle». The young owner is very shy and sweet. The service is bit lukewarm and unfortunately«classic Chinese” – Porker face service. But, please, do not let it deter your visit. At all, you are standing in the mall with paper plates and plastic cups at hand. Their Boba drinks and Crepes are good as well.

Don’t order food here. They have horrible service and treat you like shit. They’ll take your money, make you wait 40 minutes, and then tell you they don’t feel like making your order. At least they refunded me.

We love the boba at this place and it’s worth driving over here to get it! We have tried multiple flavors but the mocha one is our favorite!

Five star for its food and drinks, one star off for their slow services. We ordered two boba drinks and two bowls of spicy rice noodle. We had waited for about twenty minutes and even the customers who were behind us got their drinks. So I went ahead and asked, turn out they skipped our orders. Then another 10 mins for our food. The noodle were great. They were really spicy(which I like) so I bought three mochi ice cream — another 10 mins wait. I mean, how hard it is for a person just to scoop out three mochi ice cream? Other than that, everything was great.

Asian Apps+ is a little shop located within the Valley Fair Mall, which was a dangerous place for folks living on east side for many years. The store can be access closest through the west main entrance, and they are just right next to Purse Plus and information counter. They serve boba drinks with different styles and flavors, shave ices, and small bowls of spicy noodles. I believe fresh fruits cost a little extra if you want them in your drinks. I was actually an acquaintance with the owner Lisa and her husband Ken in the past, she is a friendly person and loves making food, and she makes her own chill pepper spicy sauces, which another reason to try the spicy noodles.

Thanks to Unilocal I found the the shaved ice delight that I wanted for so long. I was craving Sweet Bean Delight for long time but I cannot find any in Utah. This store located inside of Fair Valley«ghetto» mall. They have anything from boba, smoothie, fresh fruit juice, mochi, shaved ice delight, and authentic spicy Chinese noodles. All of them are absolutely delicious! The Sweet Bean Delight sells out fast, so you better go there in the beginning of the week. And bring cash if the purchase it is under $ 5.
