I can’t think of a time I DON’T find what I need. For that, ACE Hardware rocks! Whether it’s a couple of nails or an ethernet cable, ACE always provides and so do the people work there. Nice, friendly hardware store. I don’t go anywhere else.

Super nice staff and a decent selection. They should probably spend a little more time beautifying the store and updating the look… However, it’s nice to have an alternative to Home Depot. And also, they are open on Sundays!

Great selection of hardware, tools, lawn care equipment and supplies, power tools, and just about everything else you might need for your home. No it’s not a Lowe’s or Home Depot but it’s got a good inventory and most of the merchandise seemed like quality products(unlike a lot of the junk you’ll find other places.) Prices were also reasonable.

As far as Hardware stores go, this place is small. More like a specialty store with high prices. I find Ace to be more expensive then Home Depot but being close to my house its really convenient. I dont come here often but when I have it gets the job done. Inside is packed. Staff is really helpful. Again the prices are high.

I enjoy going to this Ace. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and you can quick grab almost anything you need in order to complete your weekend project. There is a bit if nostalgia at the Ace in Olympus Village. It reminds me of going to hardware stores with my dad when I was a kid. Now I get to bring my kids and they don’t mind one bit: Popcorn!

My husband and dad went to buy a large light fixture for our garage, and two bulbs for the light. A few days later while looking at the receipt, we realized we were charged for two light fixtures. I took the receipt and went back in to tell the manager about the mistake. He said he checked the inventory and it was all accurate, so he couldn’t give me my money back. I felt so humiliated. I wouldn’t lie about a $ 13.99 light. Also, why had we bought only two long bulbs? If each light needed two we would have bought four. There was no point in arguing with him when he was basically telling me I was lying. Side note, I showed the receipt again to my husband tonight, and there was yet another mistake. We were charged for a snow brush that we did not buy. My husband said he remembered seeing some on the counter and somehow we were charged for one. I will not be returning to this Ace Hardware again.

Good old Ace. Sometimes, when you’re ready to pull your hair out after shopping at the orange store or the blue store, you have to come to Ace and remember what the old days of hardware stores was like. I mean that in mostly a positive way – you have a fella with a mustache that knows everything about everything listen to your problem and describe what’s going on, why it’s going on, and how to fix it. He then leads you to the section where he finds the one doohickey that you need to fix what’s broken and you buy it. That’s how it used to be. I mostly have a fondness for this, although with the smaller store like this Ace, you do cede some amount of inventory, and of items you carry you don’t have the variety. Still, this is a pretty well-equipped Ace and unless you’re venturing beyond the real basic items, chances are they’ll have what you’re after. If not, you’ll have to dash all the way down the hill to the orange store. Drop in here first.
