Main Stream Pets is Rowan County’s locally owned and operated full line pet store. Our grooming salon is one of the top rated salons in Rowan County. Our grooming salon only uses American Made shampoo’s and conditioners. Inside of our retail location we offer American Made pet foods in all categories. Our staff works very hard in helping you understand why we should feed products that are Corn Soy and By-​Product free.

History

Established in 2003.

Main Stream Pets began as Doggie Doos and Cats Too. Our humble beginning started in small 2 bedroom home right beside of the owners home. Our grooming business was started beside of our home so that our daughters would not have to get off bus and come home alone. Our simple beginning helped us acheive our simple goal. Doing the right thing for the animal. Doing the right thing for our customer and our family. We operated as Doggie Doos and Cats too for 10 plus years. We started selling a small selection of pet products and food only selling grain free foods. Our mentality of products we sold in our locaton was American Made only. We changed our name to Main Stream Pets and opened our doors March 1 2014 in our new location. We still only sell American Made Pet Foods and have as many options we can find that are American Made first. Even through our growth our goal has reamained the same. Doing the right thing for the aniimals our customer and our family.

Business Owner

Pam and Scott have been married 22 plus years and have two lovely daughters. Pam and Scott have the same goals in mind when it comes to business. Treating every customer just like they want to be treated. These two offer you different resources Pam with care and grooming needs of your dogs and cats. Scott with helping your feed your dogs and cats using quality ingredients that help your animals live healthier happier lives. That often times cost less to feed than the major brands.
