I’ve been here several times, and love it. Steve knows a huge amount about cars, but is easygoing and thoughtful and makes it a pleasure to stop by. (We always have good conversations.) I never feel as if he’s taking advantage of me for being a young woman – in fact, the opposite! I highly recommend this place.

I could not possibly be happier with my experience with Steve! I bought a used 1990 Volvo 240 wagon from him. He was awesome to work with — honest, laid back, courteous, and fair. He helped me pick the right car for my needs, put a new transmission and a much newer motor in it for only 1K more than the original (very low) price, and got it to run like a dream in more or less in the time frame we agreed upon — AND he registered it for me so I wouldn’t have to wait on long lines in NYC, which is where I live. I found a couple minor issues with the car after driving it for a week, and he fixed them on the spot for free. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a used Volvo, and I’m sure he’s a great mechanic too.
