I worked there for a total of 3 months, before I jumped ship. Theresa is never actually at her business, and talks horribly about customers behind their backs. I’ve heard her say some awful things about the people who keep her business running. There were constant calls from bill collectors, while Theresa walked around in brand new clothing and drove a brand new car. Her cousin works for her, for barely over minimum wage, and basically runs the entire place. I had to sit there with this family member, and listen to her use the «N» word repeatedly, and tell me all of their family’s dirty secrets. I never received an actual pay stub, so whether or not any books are used to record financial transactions, remains a mystery. The owner runs about 3 other side businesses, which seem to take up most of her time and attention (notice the display of tacky cheap jewelry that she tries to get people to buy). As an individual who has a Bachelors of Social Work, and has worked closely with elderly patients in senior living homes, it pained me to see customers treated as poorly as they were by Theresa. The final straw was when I saw her forge doctor’s signatures for insurance purposes. I walked out and never looked back.
