Scott took my call right away, arrived within less than 20 minutes and was ready for the challenge of my old plumbing. He offered advice on a new device I was not aware needs annual maintenance, which was extremely helpful. Then he was able to clean-​out the very clogged tub faucet and shower head with his super-​duper air compressor. Sink faucet downstairs got a new aerator as well. Very straight-​forward, great explanations and a pleasure to do business with him. Highest recommendation for sure!

We found Scott Grider Plumbing here on Unilocal!this morning, when I noticed a leak in my bathroom. Since we have wood flooring, we wanted to get it taken care of quickly, and our last few experiences with our regular plumber left us dissatisfied.
When I called him, Scott said he was waiting on a water heater at the job he was working, and could run over & check our problem right away. He showed up about 20 minutes later. Since he was here, my husband asked if he would check his bathroom, and see what her could do about a persistent problem with his toilet too. He worked on both toilets, and had the repairs done in about 40 minutes. The bill was very reasonable, and we are very happy with his work. His business card took the place of our old plumber up on the refrigerator. We recommend him highly.

I was in a jam with my guest bath all clogged up and out of commission. Scott promptly came over, sized up the problem and repaired the pipes before my guests arrived for the holidays. Cool, calm and collected. No attitude, no drama. He better be careful or he is going to give plumbers a good name. Highly recommended.

I had a pipe burst inside a wall in one of the bedrooms in my house. I called Scott based on the reviews here on Unilocal.He definitely lived up to all the great reviews and he deserves them. I sent him pics and video of the problem. He came right away and was able to fix the problem in just over an hour. He was even kind enough to only charge me for an hours work even though he could have charged me for the additional 15 min. His prices are very fair and reasonable. He did great work. I have finally found my go to plumber for my home in Salinas, CA. I will definitely call on him again when I need help with the plumbing.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. Immediate phone pick up, on time appointment, very fair price, quick work, and great clean up. And he’s a really nice guy too! Hiring a plumber always makes me feel anxious. I never know if I’m paying too much or if the job is being done right. Scott convinced me that I made the right decision and that he was the best man for the job.

So needed a plumber after removing an old toilet and saw some roots. I had to find a good plumber so checked Unilocal and saw scott had 44 5-​star reviews. Thought to myself nobody can be that good? can they? I’m here to tell you He is that good. He came, new exactly what the problem was removed the roots and installed the new toilet. Professional, experienced and very competitive rates. If you need a plumber you can trust look no further and call scott.

If you need a plumber, Scott Grider is the one to call! There is nothing worse than plumbing problems! Our washing machine drain started overflowing and proceeded to flood the garage and then our toilets started gurgling and wouldn’t flush and were backing up! Uuuugggg! I remember an acquaintance of mine saying he always used Scott Grider for all of his plumbing issues. I also checked the Unilocal reviews and they were all outstanding. So I call Scott on my lunch break from work and ask if he has time to come out that day. I really didn’t think he would be available as the day was already half over. He says he is booked all day but asks what the problem is. I tell him what’s going on and he realizes it’s somewhat of an emergency as our toilets are out of service and everything is backing up. He ends up arriving at my house within 45 minutes of me calling him! He was very polite and professional. He said the main sewer line must be backed up due to the roots of 2 large trees in the front of the house. Sure enough, he was right! He snaked the main line with some type of electrical machinery. The washing machine is draining better than it ever has and all the plumbing issues are resolved all within about 15 minutes! I was very impressed with how quickly he came out to help us and how knowledgeable he was. Stellar service. Based upon the Unilocal reviews I have him a call to fix a clogged sink and backup in the laundry drainage pipe. He was prompt, professional and EFFICIENT. There’s nothing I hate more than paying someone a ton of money and not having the problem fixed at the end of the day. Scott knew EXACTLY what the problem was (vents on the roof needed clearing) and went to work right away. No fuss, no muss, not a pain in my pocketbook. I’ll be recommending him to everyone I know.

It was the Unilocal reviews that led me to Scott’s services and I have to say… They were right on. He is an excellent plumber! My review is a few month late but I wanted to make sure I acknowledged his very good service. Not only was Scott prompt in returning my phone call when one of my lines was completely clogged, but on a rainy day, he made it over and cleaned out a very stubborn kitchen line. He is a very nice honest guy, courteous and professional, and you’ll get a fair price from him. He will not try to up sell you on anything you don’t need. Give Scott Grider a call, you won’t be disappointed.

Based on these Unilocal reviews, I called Scott to do a sewer clean out in the front of the house and snake the line to the street.
He has great phone manners: he returns calls promptly.
He came by almost immediately to access the situation, provide a cost estimate, and let me know when he could do the job (the next day). He did not charge for this visit. :-)
Scott showed up on time, did a fabulous job, and the final bill was actually less than his estimate.

Scott is friendly, extremely responsive and reasonable. In the past few months I’ve been plagued with leaking pipes as a result of shoddy workmanship from the original installer. Scott is not only knowledgeable but takes the time to do the job right. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber.

With reserved enthusiasm, let me start by saying that Scott Grider is THE MAN!!!
We had a pin hole leak in our copper pipe above the water heater near the water circulator. The root cause of the leak was because the original plumber did not deburr the inside of the pipes (internal pipe burrs cause eddy currents inside the pipe which erode away the pipe).
A typical first indication is a pin hole leak in the pipe. If you are fortunate, it will not be in the wall!!!
In either case, Scott arrived promptly, triaged the situation, recommended a course of action, and repaired the piping. After my discussion with him, I also decided to remove the hot water circulator to reduce the future potential problems.
With a fast repair complete, bonus news was the PRICE!!! Great price. I had to give him more to be able to look myself in the mirror after the great service, expert skill, and «Water-​Heater Side Manner» (analogous to a doctor’s bed side manner).
