Guillermo has been working with leather for over 20 years, starting at the early age of 12. His attention to detail and zeal for his work have earned him a great reputation among his customers, whom he proudly serves.

Salinas Leather was started when Guillermo’s wife, Ruth, job shut their doors in Salinas and the family was offered a move to Oregon. During these decisive times, Memo and Ruth turned to God for guidance, where they each recieved confirmation that God was their provider and would fulfill their dreams even if her job was moving away. This encouraged the couple to stay in Salinas and open Salinas Leather, fulfilling Ruth’s dream of business woman and Guillermo’s dream of opening up his own leathershop. Today, the couple serves Salinas and all surrounding cities with their leather and western attire needs.
