We offer quality horseback riding along the beach north of Monterey. These are true beach rides with great guides and quality horses. Some of our other services include:

Horsedrawn carriages for weddings and special events. We have over twenty years experience providing carriages for weddings, parades, funerals and more!

Ponies for private parties and civic /​corporate events. Our ponies are cute and loads of fun. We can bring one to your childs party or a full turnstyle of eight to large functions.

Our petting zoo is perfect for introducing children to animals. We bring small chickens, ducks, rabbits and pygmy goats to your home, business or civic event. Our staff is courteous and helpful.

Summer day camp are a good way to have your child experience the joy of having their own horse for a week. They even have a horse show on the last day.

Established in 1981.

The Monterey Bay Equestrian Center was started by Madaline Mastroianni in 1981. Initially we offered boarding and horseback riding. Since then we have added lessons, pony parties, petting zoos and horsedrawn carriages.

Business Owner

Madaline, along with her husband Michael, owns the business. She is a California native and 30 year business owner and resident of Monterey County. She has shown horses most of her life and has won many awards.
