Let’s Party

Talked with the owner over the phone to rent a mechanical bull for a non profit event and he was extremely rude! I will never rent anything from them! And I will never recommend them to anyone else! He does not care about his potential clients and makes little to no effort to earn new clients. If he dosnt like his business, he should sale it or find someone with customer service skills to run it. He’s mad because we have never rented anything from him in the last 21years he’s owned his business an have called him every year for a quote. Don’t worry Let’s Party, we will never consider your company for any of our need.

Based on my 3 minute interaction with the person over the phone, I can’t say I’d ever go through with booking with this company. He was very dismissive and unwilling to disclose a price quote or any concrete information for that matter. I assume this is because their prices must ‘vary’ depending on the day/​client. Seems dodgy.

I’m updating this review as I did use this company again for the second time. I looked at a few other places but Let’s Party has the best selection. My fiancé ordered everything so I did not talk to Cathy but he did mention she was a little more easy going this time and we were able to put the jousting thing on concrete, they just put a tarp down to cover the ground. When I talked to her last year she kept telling me everything had to go on grass which most of our yard is concrete.
The staff that came out went above and beyond and really put in work setting everything up! We ordered the jousting game, 30 foot slide and Gyro ride. Everyone had the best time from kids to adults and I am very satisfied with the service I was given this time around. Everything was safe and secure and the guys supervised all the rides and even stayed a little longer to let the last couple groups of kids joust that were being a little shy in the beginning.
Overall a great experience and people are still talking about how much fun they had at our son’s party!!!

I would never even consider using these people if you are concerned about them not showing up/​cancelling or having wrong product. They constantly as you to «call them» while emailing you back and forth. Took 10 days of back and forth emails to confirm our party then last minute they cancelled. in the end they said they were full that day and that they had told me that… not true… first contact to them was 20 days before my event… you have to pay in full in advance… no way with this small company would I suggest anyone paying in advance

Totally impressed with the team and the rentals! We had a huge company carnival with tents, tons of games, double hi striker was a huge hit, we rented a bunch of concessions… the cotton candy was most popular. We asked if they could have a couple of their team members stay during the event to help with the games and concessions and for a very fair price they stayed for the entire event and made it so much fun for our employees. Everything was top notch, clean, set up and take down was on time and seemless. They exceeded our expectations and we will surely use them again!

Our school had a fall festival today and we decided to have a slide on site. We were able to reserve, obtain the required insurance paperwork for PTA and even add a last minute cotton candy machine. We were told they would show up at the school around 8:30am. They got there around 8:35. Bob, the main gentleman I worked with during set up, was very friendly and nice and had a good sense of humor. He advised me that they would be back at the end of our event– 2– and they were. I’ve seen other companies reviews about how the rentals weren’t picked up until late night. Since this was at a school, which had to be locked up, punctuality is very important.
The kids enjoyed the slide SO much, that we will be doing business here again in the future! Thank you!!!

Cathy’s was exceptional to work with from start to finish! They made every aspect of my party planning simple. Delivery of the machines was on time and the team was super professional. Thank you for making our party amazing!!!

Everything we expected and more: fair price, on time pick up and drop off, courteous face to face interaction, shark bounce house and bubble machine bonus! The neighbors even came by to check out the massively impressive monstrosity in our back yard, although the bubbles might have been the enticement. ***free marketing

The experience made up for the lackluster customer service on the phone with Cathy. Thank you for honoring the Unilocal check in offer, despite the complaint of not finding the time to remove it! Unilocal ads really need to be honored or removed from the account. BTW: I think it is a great marketing tool and made this review and the party experience that much better. I never would have considered it otherwise.

It’s pretty simple:
Reservation was easy.
They arrived on time.
Good service.
Clean jump houses were clean and presentable.
They picked up on time.
No issues.
I rented 2 jump houses (princess castle and the crayon for $ 275 and I was hoping for a discount. Maybe even a military discount but nothing. Oh well.
Still highly recommended.

I refuse to recommend this place to ANYONE! I called yesterday to verify if the camo jumper was available for Sunday and Juds response was that he was out and would return my call which is understandable. Because I was calling from work I asked him to take down my cell number and with a snobby attitude he said «well I’m driving but I guess I’ll pull over.» He proceeded to ask about the location of the party and when I told him that it was off of Spence road and advised they had delivered the obstacle coarse jumper at that same location before, he said, «oh is it where they have a hall for parties? We don’t deliver there because the guy there doesn’t let us.» So I said fine, we’ll have the party in my backyard… All for the sake of getting my son the jumper he wanted. He promised to call back and even though he claims that he called back, I have no missed calls from him and my voice mailbox is not full as he claimed. Because my 6 year old REALLY wanted the Camo jumper to go with his army themed party I called today at 9am. Jud answered again and I asked about the jumper. He took a moment before saying «yeah, we could make it happen.» He took down all of my information and reserved the jumper! Great! So we let everyone know that the location has changed to our backyard and we started prepping the house for the party. Well at about 2:30 pm I received Juds call saying the jumper was previously reserved for San Jose location!!! I’m sorry but WHAT? Well I let Jud get an earful because as I tried to explain to him why my frustration, he proceeded to talk over me and in a really rude way said «well we were in Stanford and didn’t return until 11pm and I don’t think you would have wanted for me to call you then right!» I did advise Jud that he is absolutely ride and that I will NEVER do business with them again. Nor will we continue to rent them for our annual spring events at work.
To Jud: I highly recommend that you take some courses on customer service because if every customer has to deal with your attitude, you will loose business which in turn is money.

Our company BBQ was a success because we had awesome activities and games that we rented from Cathy’s. The delivery and pick-​up went flawlessly. I will definitely use them again!

I was at a friends party recently. This company brought a jump house for the kids and a lip gloss machine for the teens. What fun. Everyone was thrilled.
If I lived in the area I would surely have them at my next event. Great job folks.

Called a week in advance and reserved the dalmation firehouse bounce house with slide and 2 basketball hoops. The delivery was on time and was professional and courteous not to mention was fast! They also threw in. Bubble machine because I told them of the offer to fellow Unilocalers. To make it easy on everyone we took our child to have pizza for dinner while it was time for the bounce house to be picked up, it went smooth and with no problems not even a crying screaming child when all was done.
It was an excellent day and I have to say thank you to the delivery and pickup guys, Great Job!

We had a great experience with them renting a bounce house for my son’s birthday. They were on-​time and courteous and the bounce house was the hit of the party. The only part that I didn’t like was that the woman on the phone made a big deal (ie. told me several times) about needing to drive their truck into our backyard to deliver the bounce house because it was so big and heavy and we went out of our way moving a shed out of the way to make sure that could happen. In the end though, the delivery guys just brought it back with a hand-​cart with no issues and looked at me funny when I mentioned I was told they would need to drive back there.
All in all though the kids and adults had a great time and I’m glad we did it.

I’ve just had another awesome experience with Cathy’s action packed fun jumps. Just can’t say enough about them. Each time I rent a item, whether it be the doughnut machine or a bounce house or even the toilet racers (which are so fun) I am greeted with a super friendly staff that truly love their jobs. I have also seen them in action at several of the local «sober grad» events that are promoted by our local high schools and I find their interaction with the students so great ! I highly recommend them for your party needs!

Our Company Winter Wonderland Party was a success! We rented a snow machine and photo booth from Cathy’s. The snow machine gave the perfect atmosphere to the entrance to our party and everyone loved the photo booth. It’s always the little details that I appreciate. Jed sent me a sample photo strip a day before our party making our photos more custom by putting our company logo on the bottom of the photo strip. I loved the recommendation. It was the perfect touch. Thanks Jed!
Cathy’s Action Packed Fun Jumps were on time and very professional and friendly.

I have used Cathy’s several times and found the owner and employees helpful, professional, and timely. Each time there has been a problem on our end it was resolved quickly and without hassle. I never felt they felt put out by our problem. I will continue to use Cathy’s every time I need their services, which by the way are quite extensive. As a business owner I appreciate their professionalism.

I recently contacted Cathy’s Action Packed Fun Jumps to get a bounce house for my 4 year old Grandaughter. They had a huge selection but we chose the Princess Castle. The bounce house was set up and delivered on time and was perfect for the party. I really appreciated how they went out of their way to accomodate us because I scheduled last minute and they were very busy with various graduation events and were able to help me out. We will definitely be calling them again

We recently rented the Shooting Stars Basketball hoops. They were on time and very nice. My only complaint is they are WAY TOO overpriced compared to other places. I should have done my research before hand. UGH! Otherwise, would have been 4 or 5.

If it were possible to give 0 stars this is what I would do but, I had to click on one just to post this.
Save yourself the hassle. I was told that my 1hr drive and location would prove to be too much for her and her staff to handle, but she’ll deliver to San Francisco well over two hours away without any problems. I’m not sure who from south county offended this Cathy woman but apparently NO DELIVERIES 15min outside of Greenfield even if your willing to spend $ 600+ on the party and pay for her gas. «Not worth her time» and yes that is quote directly from Cathy herself. So my ANNUAL SUMMER PARTY or any other party we have throughout the year, will NOT be put on by this company and I will tell everyone I can to NEVER use Cathy because she doesn’t really deserve the respect of your patronage.
If you really want to talk to some NICE and FRIENDLY FOLKS, who have the SAME QUALITY EQUIPMENT when it comes to bounce houses you should check out these two companies.
They service the Monterey County area without the attitude. I only contacted Cathy because she had the ultimate waterslide/​slip n slide that I really wanted for our party. I then contacted Bouncin Bins with whom I have used for the past two years and who said that they would consider making that type of inflatable one of their purchases this summer because they were looking to get some new ones. Now if they do or don’t, I don’t really care because at least they cared enough to show some gratitude for the people in need of their services. These are the type of companies that deserve respect and your business.
Just wanted to add my comment back to the owner for everyone to read:
I don’t live in Arroyo Seco. My address is Greenfield. And your company will drive to the city limits of Greenfield for $ 125 bounce house but you can’t drive an extra 15 minutes to my house for a $ 600 sale that is an annual event. That makes no business sense what so ever. And to have Cathy tell me that she can’t do it because it isn’t worth her time and money to have her guys get lost out here is uncomprehendable considering you service the San Jose and San Francisco areas… I’m sure nobody ever gets lost in S.F. At this point I will never use your company and I’m sure your mother doesn’t care. But I care enough to make sure that any events I’m involved in will not be using Cathy’s business.
