Since 1985 Kool Inc Disc Jockeys has provided music and fun– dynamic personalities to special events such as weddings, birthday parties, Bar/​Bat Mitzvahs, Class Reunions, Picnics, holiday parties and more. Since everyone these days can access music, it’s all about presenting the event in a way that everyone will enjoy. This, along with extreme professionalism, quality sound and the widest variety of music anywhere, sets Kool Inc apart from the rest.

History

Established in 1985.

Kool Inc was founded by Dj Kevin Harris who started in radio at the age of 15 as a high school reporter in Baltimore, Maryland. The radio station, WEBB, was owned by the late R & B singer, James Brown.

After joining the army and moving to the Monterey Peninsula, Dj Kevin worked briefly at a local radio station, KZEN before being transferred to Germany.

While in Germany, serving in the army as a military policeman and attending the University of Maryland, Dj Kevin established Kool Inc Entertainment.

In its early days, Kool Inc consisted of Dj Kevin and a complete host of dancers, support djs and management. Kool Inc performed regular dates in German discos just south of the Frankfurt area.

Once Dj Kevin returned to the Monterey area, he established Kool Inc here and trained and provided disc jockeys to many of the nightclubs and private events.

Kool Inc’s goal is to provide disc jockeys with outgoing and enthusiastic personalities and exceptional music knowledge to all events.

Laurie is best described as the customer’s advocate as shown by her relentless nature of following up and following through on event details and changes.

Being in banking management for many years has given Laurie outstanding customer service skills.
