I like this CVS but I usually go to the smaller CVS that is nearby. Anyhow, I came in today at around 3:30 pm to get my prescription filled there. When I walked in, I went right over to the clearance section. They have one of the best clearance tables! All their Halloween items were 75% off– yippee!!! Awesome deal! As I walked around the store, I saw a group of 4 or 5 teenagers who appeared to be up to no good. They had this hysterical laugh that was annoying. Constantly as I glanced over they were being rambunctious and careless: running through out the store and pushing into displays. I wanted to stay clear and these kids gave me bad vibes. I walked over to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine and mentioned to the pharmacist that there were some unruly teens in the store. Suddenly, I heard a loud crash and another crash! The pharmacist called out to leave it alone. Another staff person called the manager to come out. That appears to be when the teens left the store and rather quickly. I am sure security cameras have footage of these teens. I saw the damage — it was horrible– a huge makeup display case fell to the floor. If a customer was nearby it, this case could have crashed on top of them and that could have been dangerous! I know for me, I would not want at least a bunch of glass nail polish bottles falling on me! And of course, these displays would not fall down in normal situations if just someone just walks by them. It would take major force for these kind of displays to fall. I hope what I share here about today helps the store catch these teens as sure they should be held liable for the damage. They need to be taught how to act in public. This store is NOT a playground! Anyhow, I have to state, that yes it is not the fault of the store that immature uncivilized children(and yes, children, teens who act that way– can not be considered as adults and should still be treated as children), were doing whatever they wanted in the store. But yes, as a customer who knows how to act in a public place appropriately, I do not want to be placed in danger because of some dumb teenagers. So, I had to take off one star because of that. But overall, I like this store and so give it 4 stars. Pros: –huge store with lots of the usual CVS items –helpful and friendly staff –great clearance section –very clean and well organized –huge dollar section in the back of the store Cons: –watch out for rambunctious, unruly teens who have no business being in the store unsupervised by their parents!

Let me tell you a story about CVS pharmacy. I needed a prescription filled, and I called it in 24 hours ahead of time and I received a call past that 24 hour mark, that my medication would not be in until the following Monday evening and this was Friday. I asked the pharmacist to call another pharmacy to see if I can have my prescription filled because we had a death in the family, and I was going out of town and would not be back until the following Wednesday. I was told that no other pharmacy in the area had my prescription and I would have to wait. Never once did I have an expression of condolence which is customary or so much as even an acknowledgment of my loss. I took matters into my own hands and within minutes I found a CVS pharmacy close by that had my prescription. When I called The pharmacy on Vieira Canyon the woman was very short and rude to me on the phone. CVS pharmacy does not have a customer complaint line anywhere that I can find so this leads me to believe that customer service is not important to them. I strongly recommend people find a different pharmacy. I sincerely doubt that anyone from CVS corporate office even reads these reviews.

No stars. They make their own rules, discriminate against anyone they don’t like the look of and they’re rude. The pharmacy is a bad joke. They lie, they mess up orders, they break privacy practices and treat their customers like crap. Too bad a joke like cvs has a monopoly on the entire town. The staff is a joke, you can’t even trust or take them seriously, especially the rude«pharmacist» with the tacky red dye job. I’ll never use, trust or bother returning to this overpriced dump for anything again. I’m disgusted. Get a real pharmacy staff, not a tacky white trash gang of jerkoffs.

The people who work here are morons. I returned an item here that I purchased in Capitola. The tax is a difference of 1%. First, the cashier told me the computer said the item was already returned. I said«obviously not.» She called over some other guy, I’m assuming was the manager and he fixed it. Then when she handed me the change, she only gave me 11.91 back. I told her I paid 11.96. She and the man said that it is because it is a different tax rate. I told her that I paid 11.96, I get 11.96 back. She snapped and asked me if I wanted to return it in Capitola. I just gave her an evil look, took my change and walked away. Unfortunately, today is Sunday and the corporate complaint dept is closed, but they too will be hearing from me. I wonder how much these people have pocked by not adjusting the tax? I will definitely be avoiding this CVS!
