i’m sorry but there’s a couple of things that would help this business be more successful. 1. charge people what the ad on the door says the items are. 2. let people browse their liquor and beer selection instead of asking«you want this one? this one? that one? how about this one?» 3. make beer prices comparable to the stores down the street. ah… in short, basically don’t be so obviously money hungry.

It’s got a decent selection of various spirits, but the customer service is seriously lacking. The staff obviously doesn’t want to be there, and certainly doesn’t want to interact with customers any more than taking their money. They also need to learn a little about their products… I don’t expect a liquor store clerk to know everything there is about booze, but when the conversation goes something like this, it’s not a good sign: Me: Hi. Do you have some 99 Blackberries? Clerk: Is that a drink? Me: Um, yes. It’s a kind of schnapps. Clerk: I dunno. Me: Okay. Well, where do keep the schnapps? I’ll look for it myself. Clerk: Drink mixes are over there [pointing]. Me: Um, schnapps isn’t a drink mix. Clerk: Oh. I dunno. Fortunately, the store isn’t that big, so it didn’t take me too long to find what I was looking for. But really? You’re working at a liquor store and don’t know the difference between schnapps & a margarita mix? That’s kinda like a car salesman not knowing the difference between a ¾ ton pickup and a motorcycle.
