Arco Am Pm

This establishment gets 2 stars for their low gas prices and convenience store. They are open 24 hours but so is the Pilot and 7 – 11 across the streets. Be prepared to be approached by pan handlers 24 hours a day. Seems like they work there because no one ever tells them to leave and its perfectly fine to be bugging customers. I mainly just stop by there when the Pilot islands are too crowded or I have cash on me because like all the others you have to pay 35¢ to use your debit card. One time I did have to use the restroom and it was filthy but that was months ago so they might have improved there.

Drove down the main street and all the gas stations were empty except this one. Was heading over to Monterey and back to Southern Cali and decided to fill up here since it was the cheapest and I couldn’t get out of the parking lot if I tried. Paid cash inside, asked th clerk to turn the air on so I could re-​fill my tires. Went back to ask her to turn it on again and saw this awful sign (I posted a pic) saying to use the machine outside. One guy paid cash and needed his change but couldn’t get it; not sure how long he waited. The sign didn’t say if she’d be back or when. Service sucks but what do you expect from a cheap gas station when they can’t even spell check their own sign?
Times are tough, fine use Arco, but if I had to do it over again I’d go to Chevron.

Ampm is great to get drinks as their selections are awesome. Gas prices are pretty decent compare to major brands. The service here however is not so great, mostly girls that work here, they think they are better than you. No greetings when I come in many different times.
